We could use a not only a list but time allocation which eventually end up being a schedule. Also, we would see at least get to see the interest in every subject, so that we would scratch ones that have no interest.

This is not the last meeting we're going to have I hope.
Our first meeting should be more a casual, "I like this technology", "check this out", "Ooooh, I have a project I want help in!" kind of thing. We'll then prepare towards where we found ourselves aligned and schedule the next meeting till the time ends.
So everyone please lower your expectations on this meeting to the bare minimum of meeting your fellow geeks, having a breakfast, a couple of technical conversations, and sharing the confusion for a spur of action.
Please don't be expecting anyone to have been preparing presentations and lectures under such short notice.
We can always pick out a really theoretical lecture to watch together and have a conversation afterwards.
