nagging won't help nor will it affect them. they are simply ignoring the people
Weird Suggestion But We're Desperate Anyway...
Or we can just build a script that bombards all addresses ending with ogero.gov.lb with a custom e-mail.
I thought about that too. I wish we could hack their website and replace it with a page telling them that their internet is fucked up and we demand this and that... Any volunteers?chosen2k wroteOr we can just build a script that bombards all addresses ending with ogero.gov.lb with a custom e-mail.

Alright :) what's the email though?
I like that too. Maybe hoding a panel saying "Internet is SHIT, thank you Ogero!"Samer99 wroteI suggest that somebody set himself on fire in front of Ogero headquarter in protest of the bad Internet situation in Lebanon, then the Lebanese people will start a revolution :P

Bla bla bla
I guess hacking their website and putting a banner and explanation text would get enough media attention.
Thing is, we dont care who or what company is giving us internet (ok, we all hate ogero, but bottom line we need good internet goddamnit!!).
So I guess our best bet would be - and since its a bit far fetched to think we can really affect their income (i.e. how many people in lebanon do u really think would/could stop using the internet for a while) - to get media attention to the problem, which in turn would probably get some ministers to get off their fat asses and "answer the call" or something....

DoS Attack
DDoS attacks are not meant for "hacking" a website. They simply bring the server down. But when that happen, maybe we can inject something into the server?
I'll port scan to check if there's any Vulnerable service.Kassem wroteDDoS attacks are not meant for "hacking" a website. They simply bring the server down. But when that happen, maybe we can inject something into the server?
Why are you guys discussing stuff such as: DDoS attacks on the goverment(Ogero belongs to the goverment...amIright?) on a public forum ...

you guys can't just discuss hacking on a public post. heck isn't the hacking issue breaching the form's rules?
go ahead and bring their website down; they will find you, and they will press charges. guys you cant just fool around with government property, you are wiser than this.

These are an open to public forums
Even though its not widely known in lebanon...ITS STILL PUBLIC..and you risk getting it shutdown and getting press charged.
We're not trying to sabotage their server or cause any harm. We merely want to get our demands through their thick fucked up minds! If hacking the website for a few days is outrageous, then my initial suggestion shouldn't cause any press charges.MrClass wrote@ ac1d: admin deleted my post when i said that

Let everyone contribute the way he feels. This thread should be a place to exchange ideas. But if people want to assist each others in doing things that are borderline illegal (like DoS), I suggest they take it to a more private place. Also, this is not a chatroom.
C'mon guys, no need to do this now. May I suggest we... oh say... wait till April to see if any new progress reports come in, after that then we'll decide if we need to motivate anyone with any methods stated above
