Make sure that you have "Cellular Data" switched on.
Make sure that you have "Cellular Data" switched on.
how can you turn on "cellular data" ?
Settings --> General --> Network
their is no "on" button.. I did all the above and when I try opening safari it gives me "you are not connected to the Internet error"

The "ON" button is available on 4.0 version and above.andy1123 wrotetheir is no "on" button.. I did all the above and when I try opening safari it gives me "you are not connected to the Internet error"
If you are still using 3.x version and not willing to upgrade, you may install the free "sbsettings" from Cydia which contains the data feature (ON / OFF)
Do you have UC browser on iphone?
It works well with Android + wap

@andy1123
I used to have a problem when I'd have to open safari, lock the phone, wait 5 minutes then go to a webpage..
Try it out. Type 3 actual spaces.
For everyone else, if you noticed your phone is overheating or the battery isn't lasting as long as usual, try disabling notifications when you're on wap.

thank you amjadk.. it worked
Yea thank you amjad it worked, but what i want to ask, is that by doing this procedure, do you still have to pay 5$ to the operator? In other words, does this connect you to the internet or it just enables it for iphone?
You're welcome guys
I spent a lot of time trying to get free wap (a few years back if you signed up for wap on mothers day, you'd get free wap+unlimited megabytes, and I thought it was faster but that was probably my jealousy kicking in…)
I never found anything like that again so no unfortunately all this does is enable wap support on iPhones…
But MTC postpaid wap is unlimited
