  • Offline Android GPS application?

babum please elaborate: give more info on the moded map and the application used for navigation.
google maps provided as attachment are not being installed, i have a sgs 2 running cm7, any idea?
did you uninstall google maps first?
does anyone has link to Saudi Arabian Map for Navitel, please?
yes, from titanium backup; but it wasn't installed at first so I restored using Titanium backup then wiped data and uninstalled it. Then, I tried installing the new maps, I agree on the terms and permissions, the progress bar of installation shows up and all seem normal then the window where you usually get application successfully installed I got application not installed.
thats weird, because I uninstalled everything that has to do with google maps and it worked. did you miss streetview or some related app? no idea.
street view was not even installed, but somehow.was.available in titanium.backup, so i restored i.deleted from their and installed the new.version from market wiped the data and uninstalled it from TB but no.success
Odd, im not sure what is wrong with your installation, and we covered the basics:

-rooted phone (I assume that for TI you need root access)
-no previous google maps version installed nor any related software such as navigation, maps, streetview

I will try to check what the issue is, however, is there any way to see a log of the error? That could help.
i dont know what log of the error is.
it should be a text file stating what the error was, though I don't know how to get one in android. Maybe someone here knows how?

Well, I'm Screwed then :P

your Android device needs to be rooted in order to Crack "Google Maps"

and since i have the Sensation XL " No Full Root" yet,

I Think I'll Stick with Navitel,

any better navigation apps worth mentioning?

Hey, i downloaded the files and tried Navigon on my SGS2 that has Android 2.3.5 not rooted.
Is there a limitation for 2.3.5? Navigon 2.6.1 is giving Force Close.
Please help!

but if you have no problem rooting your phone, google navigation (worldwide navigation Enabled) is the thing for you ;)

Ok downloaded this one and it's....just the worst application I've ever tried on an Android device ?

I mean map size is 1MB, not routable, no POI and even worse, you can't search for places !!#$@!
