Maybe if you want to test DNS servers and the weird thing is that when my internet was "down" last time for like 30 minutes i was able to ping that!
Look at mine, like I said I can't ping anything in the cmd.

What the hell is 8.8.8.8 ?
I don't know I just tested what they tested, so don't ask me my main problem is why I'm getting request timed out in the cmd and in pingtest.net I can do ping normally?

It is the IP address of Google DNS server.rolf wroteWhat the hell is 8.8.8.8 ?
Google DNS server is better than Ogero DNS server, you will have a faster response and all websites will open with no problems...
For example, http://www.timelycn.com/ will not open if you are using Ogero DNS server, but with Google DNS server it will!
I am with IDM and i never configured anything but i can browse the site.

I don't know what is the DNS server that IDM clients use by default...kareem_nasser wroteI am with IDM and i never configured anything but i can browse the site.
Ogero clients use the following DNS servers by default (when they chose to obtain DNS server address automatically):
-Primary DNS: 77.42.130.32
-Secondary DNS: 205.177.180.3
Now, clear all your browser history, use Ogero's DNS servers, try to browse http://www.timelycn.com/, it will not open.
Try Google DNS server (8.8.8.8) the site will open normally, other sites like Facebook, Youtube will response faster...
Conclusion: Ogero DNS servers sucks!

All the websites that are hosted on the web server with IP address 61.155.154.24 (more than 100 Chinese websites) can not be loaded using Ogero DNS servers.

i haven't felt this way before, i cant keep up with the internet :P i need two heads and a keyboard with more keys :P
You're not suppose to "keep up with the internet". There is much of it, and it wont go anywhere, dont worry. :pjadberro wrotei haven't felt this way before, i cant keep up with the internet :P i need two heads and a keyboard with more keys :P
My guess is you're trying to do as much surfing as you can before you come back.
It's funny a while ago I had a much slower connection, and took the habits of opening several tabs in the same time. For example, if I am reading an article and see an interesting link, i'll open it in background while I keep reading the article, and when I switch to that link, it would be almost loaded. It's some kind of human pre-fetching, and it seems it's a common habit with people who have slow connections. Now my connection is a bit faster so I only do this for youtube.
This habit can be a bit annoying when you get your hands on real broadband, like in turkey, where it doesnt make any sense to do this background loading, so I think I get what you mean.
Well, at least keyboards are still querty in Turkey, right?
umm im on my laptop , other than that all computers here speak Turkish :P and i mean it ! and oh yes i have the habit of opening tabs in the background to load :) it has become a habit , i do it here as well . but the connection here is a work horse ! im downloading torrents at 500Kb/s+ , regular downloads and browsing and you can barely feel any difference !rolf wroteYou're not suppose to "keep up with the internet".
