umm, few more weeks? I though it was gonna happen in late 2011?Yorgi wroteMost of you have probably seen something similar to this somewhere in the streets recently.
Yes, it's the Fiber Optics installation.
Today i met the engineer at the location today, and had a short discussion with him. He told me that the process of installing the Fiber Optics has reached its final stages.
Few more weeks my friends... This is what we're all waiting for for a long long time ^^

lool. Just look at the content of the Van. I was like... "wtf are they doing". and the first question i asked was: "So this is how we install fiber optics?"Flakk wroteThanks for informing us Yorgi.
Without reading your comment, looking at this pic made me think that ogero is in the Sewer and "regard" business now :P
I thought they were draining the sewage or something. I've came to expect anything.Yorgi wrotelool. Just look at the content of the Van. I was like... "wtf are they doing". and the first question i asked was: "So this is how we install fiber optics?"
Nope, internal network structure may get better, hence local file transfers Etc.. will get better, but the real internet that relies on servers elsewhere will stay the same .Nemesis-301 wroteso we're going to have 10X faster internet speeds in a few weeks?
ahhhh ok so we're gonna get connected to IMEWE in late 2011 and thats when we will see the difference :(jadberro wroteNope, internal network structure may get better, hence local file transfers Etc.. will get better, but the real internet that relies on servers elsewhere will stay the same .Nemesis-301 wroteso we're going to have 10X faster internet speeds in a few weeks?!?!?!?!?!
Edit: until we get connected to the EMEWE .
I Don't want to wait till 2011 to experience the fast internet again. I am totally optimistic for the time being and i guess that things will go great and as expected from now on.jadberro wroteNope, internal network structure may get better, hence local file transfers Etc.. will get better, but the real internet that relies on servers elsewhere will stay the same .

Not to mention the expected 24h/24h Electricity that they're advertising for recently on TV's...
We finally rode the train. And we're moving fast now.
