Internet Dowhill, Twitter age on the rise

Facebook is a hog with all the pictures in a page :P, in these hard times, it's time to part our ways from it, be ready to welcome Twitter as the next-gen social networking site, why twitter, it's basically only tweets(small text messages :P), hail the great lebanese internet pushing in the direction of advancing :P, now time to make some noise about it and move all thy friends to Twitter :P ...

lol very true, Facebook is really like food for the lebanese people.
even though i do have a Twitter Profile and i find it very easy to use, the lebanese community isn't moving away from Facebook. why? well they won't find in Twitter what the Facebook already offers, which is basically "stalking" features, as:
- the ability to view someone's photos, who's else in them and who commented on them.
- access to another person's full profile that includes what he likes, doesn't like, where he came from and everything you basically need to know.

and most importantly, Twitter doesn't have (yet?) access to millions of useless and dumb applications where you can spend all free time you're overwhelmed with, and then fill up your friends' News Feed with those applications and tell them What Kind Of Lover Are You or What Color Of Socks Best Suits You..

Facebook moved toward twitter, like you can see the status changes live and comment on them...
So why should i have twitter then? :rolleyes:
Only things I use on facebook...
- Messenging
- Photos
- Status updates can be fun
- Quizzes when im bored
- Oh and events sometimes...

And thats about it... people seldom put personal info anymore (like phone n.) and I try to avoid groups because they spam my inbox...

As for the quizzes, I never chose to let them post in my feed. If the result is really interesting i add it on my profile or personal info.

the cool thing is that you get connected to friends you lost contact with , that is the only thing that actually stafadt mina in facebook.. the other things are available elsewhere, even better options.

Games can be fun on facebook... specially that you can compete against friends without going fully mmprog
and the tizrik and such makes it more fun

it provides some way to kill time at work :P

some groups can be useful

some applications are nice.. like books, chess (trying to sound smart :P )

So why should i have twitter then?

You get to communicate with a whole other community. You don't need to open yourself up to them (i.e., access to your photos and whatnot) to communicate with them.
