Google Lebanon : http://www.google.com.lb

Finally!

It seems they're really serious about getting into the region :)

Thanks to tich for hinting.
Finally!
whaaaat.. don't tell me that you have been hang up all of this time on this... meh time to move on then :P
Well anyway i am not denying google's interest in the region, they surely are making great steps in this direction, you're still not convinced, how about free fiber optics, yes free fiber optics :P take a look www.google.com/tisp (better late than never :P)
I noticed this, thought about posting.. but found it kinda stupid :P

i hate when i get redirected to arabic either in blogger, google, or any other website
its okay, you can have it in english, just with one link and it will save the setting.

Arabic, French and Armenian.

@Mir: you should have English instead of arabic.

Wow Armenian too?
Talk about localisation.
How about some Syriac/Greek/Roman etc. for our new generation of priests? :P

You know this was an April fools from a couple of years back, right...

I for one, find it really annoying. As mir said, it's really annoying when you get redirected to an Arabic version of whatever service. At least here we can do a one click move back to English, in blogger it's even more frustrating.
I wonder why they don't save the localization settings into your Google profile. It's unfortunately not always as convenient as Rolf made it sound, since you might be using different browsers, and different PCs etc, it's just a hassle.

Anyway, I don't know where they got the assumption that most Lebanese users would rather have Google load up in Arabic. I would be very surprised if more than 1% actually uses it in Arabic.. *sigh*

Check the part I highlighted in bold; he wrote that 'shortly' after April the 1st :)
Oh and welcome to the forum Kevin! (why don't you introduce yourself?)
Google Lebanon should be not be in arabic, it should be in latin arabic. :p
