Just deleted dap and using IDM, can't believe its from israel. Btw are you all experiencing some low internet connection, because i'm using ogero and from yesterday the speed had super dropped :(

Nuclearcat, I was browsing this thread. http://www.lebgeeks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=78172#p78172 I clicked on the sodetel link. it won't open. Are the "nice" people at sodetel blocking VISP?

Btw...Connection was actually good today for a change. I was even getting my 1Mbit. More importantly, I was getting 400s latency.
Then at 11:58 PM, the "feared" 30 second internet outage happened and I was back to 256k and crappy latency.
Honest question. Is there no way to keep good latency whilst applying whatever "changes" were done at 11:58 PM? Nuclearcat, I know this isn't entirely up to you. I'm just wondering.

I'm a broadband user from Tripoli. I still didn't find any improvement. All this happen when VISP has doubled the FUP. For now i have to refresh a page several time to load successfully.

And what about the packet loss, how can i fix this ? it is always between 70% and 80%. I tried several PC on LAN and WiFi and i always got the same results.

VISP is so awful coming to packet preserving, there's always a loss, and some time close to 80% loss on Europe servers ( cleanest ), this is definitely not your choice if you're an online gamer.
For sodetel, you need to update your Java ibxoful, to test packet loss.
Still Ogero my only choice for Gaming.

I'm wondering if VISP had full backbone over fibre, how would it pass the bandwidth to the resellers eg. (Ferrari Networks) ? Will it be through Laser Links or standard mikrotiks as it is for now ?

PS. I'm a reseller at visp, thats why i'm asking the question,

Is VISP part of the conversion or are they still waiting in line?

I'm getting 2 to 4 kbytes only when trying to download arch updates from ftp. It's been like that for maybe two days.
Also latency is unusable now.

Edit: Nuclearcat helped troubleshoot the problem.

Which forum? :-) Just curious who told that, i never seen other ISP's representatives on forums.
For sure if Ogero will give bandwidth, all satellite backbone will be gone.
