In my case, they charged 165 dollars for installation and the monthly subscription is 35 USD for 256k.
They installed in less than 48 hours. Their technicians are super friendly and they will answer the phones till midnight.

Yes, for sure FUP is working, but keep in mind that: from 3am till 6am FUP disabled
Also FUP limit increased too, so just check, from time to time, your FUP status in customer cabinet.

non http stuff stopped now. which means I died in the game and now I have to spend another 5 USD to replace my stuff..

Please tell us when an outage is going to happen. I'm spending more that what my connection costs on a free game because of those outages.

When i was in bad need of reliable connection and i had same situation at are i lived (not Lebanon), i bought connection from local ISP and many SIM cards for GPRS, and built also software that will fallback to GPRS and will keep session alive (kind of tunnel).
I was not loosing even money, only my nerves, but i cannot blame ISP's, because to have _SLA_ i need to pay thousands of dollars. And even with SLA ISP cannot guarantee you no short outages, and SLA usually cover only amount of payments you are paying to ISP. I'm not talking that in Lebanon SLA not possible by principle.

Nuclearcat already answer on that question many times. As soon as we get promised backbone from government. We try to do our best, but we can't do magic

Nope. It hovers between 0.5 mbps and a meg ... the meg being mostly a burst.

My youtube is still slow as hell.

For all I'm concerned, I will give VISP one month to implement the changes. I know they need to upgrade equipment and reconfigure software and connections.

Guys am having some problems am getting 0.05 Mbps ? Nuclear cat do you have any justification :) I know am asking a lot but you know every one is excited about the Internet btw a special thanks for you and your efforts
only today @ 6am I got 0.94 and through the day it was 0.6 maximum

1 byte = 8 bits.
They're giving you 1 mbit not 1 megabyte.
