AVOlio wrote The 55" 900E is even 1,500$ not 1,300 at tahan.

Tahan has a 0% interest offer going on now when you pay with installments.
I think I will take this chance and go for the B7 OLED and save me a $100 or 2.
The B7 is probably the best 4K TV! https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/best/by-resolution/4k-ultra-hd-uhd
What size they have in here? And what are the prices?!
They surely have both sizes 55" and 65".
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 55" yesterday from Khoury Home! (installments of course xD).

I told them that Im actually going to tahan to take it and in just passing by, so what the salesman did is he actually lowered the price of the TV so this will compensate for the interest rate, and the final result was the same price like tahan as if the interest rate was 0%.
I went with khoury home mainly because of better customer and after sales service, I guess?
I don't know, never had experience with neither of them but khoury home employees always looked more knowledgeable and professional to me.
Maybe you guys can Share some experiences with customer / after sales services with both of them?

How much??
I like the reviews of this guy , he is technical person who purchase the TV and compare with another TV , no marketing gimmicks very straight forward for the end user.

He recently purchsed the LG Oled B7 and compared with the Sony X900e (midrange).. HDR 10 On LG B7 vs SDR on the X900e and lot of comparison videos on his channel between the LG B7 and the X900e. Check Them Out

Personaly I will go Sony Midrange - Highend anyday compared to Qled or Oled. Motion Handling , Upscaling , HDR Peak Brightness, Color Reproduction , and durability are top in the industry. Waiting for microleds which adds the benefits od OLEDs ( infinite contrast and real blacks) and LED ( Peak Brightness , no image retention and screen burning) which will be my next replacememt with HDMI 2.1.
Tahan just commented on a Fb post saying that the P series will be available on Tuesday Feb 6th!

Like Chumbucket from Mad Max would say: Praise be!! :)
Well I just called, asked the exact model number, the guy said it was P6US.
As far as I know that's neither the US nor European version..
But I asked about Dolby vision support, no support for it.
Also asked the os, he said android.
So most probably its the European version.
But I've never heard of that model number before.

The Asian P2 series here is P2US so it must be a brand new model for Asian countries, and knowing they use the same products as Europe so yes.
But it's still good with HDR and local dimming, and certainly better than Mu7000

Edit: found it in the Thailand website http://www.tclthai.com/th/products/detail/115
But no idea about OS
And in UAE they have like in Europe, 2 models of P6US, one with Android P6100 and the other with ''smart'' apps P6000, and the price difference is not that big with 650$ for the Android version and 590$ for the other one.

I'll Pass.
We're not even 100% sure if it has local dimming, plus the absence of Dolby Vision is not future proof .

Actually you can check in the menu for micro dimming, I just watched a video of the P6046 which is the same in Europe and you can turn it On-Off from the menu, so you can always pay a visit to Abed Tahan and check it

HLG is future proof:) not dolby vision.
MY c6 has it all;)

Just teasing tech guru:)

HLG is a big gimmick :) , dolby vision with real 12 bit panels are the coming future with micro led panels. HDR 10 is the treat now with capable high end led tvs such as X930e with brightness crossing 1200 nits and powerful local dimming .
The TCL P Series that will be released here is not the USA variant that rtings.com tested , it is a variant that has am ambiguous HDR Pro ( that can decode HDR 10) with a mediocre HDR Peak Brightness of only 300nits.

So I got an HDR capable screen, and a 4k Netflix account.
My pc specs are a sandy bridge cpu and a gtx 980.

My question is how can I use Netflix to stream HDR content on the screen?
Will chromecast ultra work, or will it still be limited by my cpu and gpu?

You need at least a Kaby Lake CPU (7th generation) or Nvidia's GeForce GT(X) 10 series to stream Netflix at 4K due to DRM. That's for PC. Not sure about Android devices or Smart TVs. Doesn't your TV have a Netflix app?
Its not a TV, its a projector, with HDR support.
I am aware of the requirements, and my specs aren't HDR ready.
Which is why i'm asking for help, how can i do it?

Will chromecast work? I dont know how chromecast works, i need to hook it up to the projector, and to the pc? and if i hook it to the pc wont it still not let me stream HDR because of the specs?

but basically, looking for a solution.
So finally nobody bought the TCL?
I wonder if Abed Tahan will make special prices on Sony X800E and x850E for Fifa World cup in 4 months.
They used to make super deals on TVs for the ''mondial''

I might but probably not so soon, or maybe not, dunno.
3 months later
so i was just at abed tahan to check out sony and tcl tvs. i have a sitting area that will be approximately 3.5 meters away from the tv so i am trying to decide between a 75" 4k HDR or a 65" 4k HDR considering the 75" costs 1000$ more and would probably be too big for the mentioned distance?

The sony x930 65" would cost 3200$ but you get a free 40" FHD sony TV with it costing 370$ i believe if you want to purchase it seperately. the 75" edge lit sony x850e costs 2899$ although i saw the same model at khoury home for 2700$. i saw the x930 has more brightness to it that the x850e and im just wondering if its better to get the higher specced 65" x930e rather than the 75: x850e.

I will be using a ps4 pro and watching 4k netflix and considering the samsung 4k bluray player as well if there are 4k bluray dvds to purchase here?

Then i saw the 75" 4k UHD HDR PO TCL L75c2us. It had a great picture as well for the price of 2200usd and has a full array rather than the edge lit 75" x850e. I also saw the Curved 65" L65X3CUS TCL with quantum dot and it looked amazing. I'm wondering if the picture quality between the sony's and the tcl is similar and not worth paying the extra for the sony name. how is the upscaling on the TCL, the HDR compared to the sony and the brightness.

i will be making the purchase soon so any input regarding the size and make of the tv will be greatly appreciated. Or maybe wait for better tvs in 2019? will they be out of budget(max 3200$)?

thanks!!!
@djunited
Were you in the mansourieh branch by any chance near closing time?
Anyway we were there and we bought the 65" C2US.

Also to @TechGuru and to anyone else whos bought TVs from. Abed tahan, did they open the box and try the TV out in front of you before you took it.
They told me it's mandatory... But I wonder if they're only doing it with tcl.. Maybe they suspect some defaults?
