So I've been living in Beirut for 4 years and its time I get to know the go-to food places. I need to know your best places for:
- Fried chicken
- Falafel sandwich
- Shawarma
- BBQ chicken (3al fa7m)

My good experiences are:
- Torino Jdeide
-
- Jabbour Dora (Chicken)
-

Your thoughts
- Fried chicken: Shamitely sodeco
- Falafel sandwich: Sahyoun
- Shawarma: Station
- BBQ chicken (3al fa7m): Farrouj al abdallah

Add-on: best snack: Classic sandwich
Are we also considering price/taste ratio?

- Fried Chicken: Rabebeh (kornish il mazraa)
- BBQ Chicken (3al fa7m): Rabebeh (kornish il mazraa)

Add-on: best sandwiches in lebanon for: Samki Harra, Batata Harra, Jwenih Djej, Kabab Orfelli -> Zaghloul (gallery samaan)

Also great prices for the tastiest and cleanest food.

Just try them and you'll see.
- Fried chicken KFC
- Falafel sandwich Falafel abou nabil
- Shawarma Kalaa Chicken
- BBQ chicken (3al fa7m) Kalaa Chicken

Best sandwiches: Classic Sandwich, Kalaa Chicken, MiniGuette
- Fried chicken: They're all shit honestly, so I can't recommend any. Deek Duke is meh also.
- Falafel: Sahyoun (Bcharah el khoury, next to BDD), don't bother with any other place.
- Shawarma: KB Doner (Bliss street) for turkish shawarma and Joseph (mansourieh) for Lebanese shawarma.
- BBQ chicken (3al fa7m): I'd go with Farouj el Abdallah (Bliss street) or Al Shaykha (Hamra).

For lite sandwiches and plates, I usually order from Mr. Brown (Ashrafieh) and MiniGuette.

I'm aiming for the area in blue. Something I can have every now and then without giving me a running stomach.

@Jerome I highly recommend you try Zaghloul for Lebanese grilled meats. It is a very casual place for a quick bite. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I was in doubt when my colleague told me about this place. We went together to have some; and holy shit, that was the best sandwiches I ever had.

You're kidding right?

-Fried Chicken (crispy strips) : try dining in at InDiner restaurants (dekwaneh, jal El Dib, mansourieh).
-falafel: falafel Joseph sin El fil
-shawarma : hmmm, don't know or have a specific place that I can call my favorite. (always wanted to try from jabbour, but I'm too cheap to pay 6,000 for a sandwhich I can finish in one bite).
-farouj 3al fahem: try restaurant yamine baushriyeh.

Flavor Chicken in Achrafieh, can't beat that

- Falafel sandwich
Freiha in Sassine Square,
or Sahyoun bchara el khoury

- Shawarma
Falafel Freiha makes good Shawarma, but expensive.
Snack el Mathaf does good Shawarma if you don't mind the fat
Barbar in Hamra

- BBQ chicken (3al fa7m)
3al Zahlewe in Sin El Fil
Lala is not bad if you can afford it.

Well no, I just find it way better than other options, Gotango is in second place.
Apologies for my previous comment. Will be more considerate next time. Sorry omar_killer!
There are a couple of places in Dora, for shawarma, yes. I forget the name, though! Abou Joseph is also supposed to be good.
Generally my food recommendation for Lebanon is: learn to make salad and healthy food. It is easy to get fat, and also easy to fall ill by eating out.
For something really cheap and tasty, I recommend Mazzat. It's 24/7!

And definitely Zaatar W Zeit.
Fried Chicken: Dar el Beik in Dora Mar youssef, and Mtayleb main road.
BBQ Chicken: I also recommend Dar el Beik very good chicken (premium quality Shuman stuff)

Shawarma : Joseph in Sin el fil and Abou joseph in Zalka highway

Falafel : Sahyoun ( not a fan of falafel I eat them like twice a year but the last time Sahyoun was really good)

For everything else : Mazzat has a good selection of everything in one place.
When it comes to shawrma no one beats srour in haret hreik, its a little cheap restaurent that makes the best shwarma in the country.

So if any of you craves shwarma I would reccomend to try it even if you have to come from a far place
