  • Can I buy E-books from Amazon?

You need a US payment method. If you don't have a US credit / debit card, then use this service:
https://www.entropay.com

They will provide you with a virtual Visa debit card that you can fill up with your own credit / debit card (Lebanese or otherwise).

You can use any US address for the billing address as EntroPay does not verify that information (unlike most banks that do, against an acceptable billing addresse that they provide you with).
Book is in paperback, which means they will ship you the actual book not a pdf, kindle or other format. If that is the case, see if a store like Virgin has that in stock or can order if for you if you don't have the means to order it yourself. There are probably other vendors that sell the book in an e-format, but you will have to hunt them down, but a good place to start would be google books or ibooks (or whatever the apple version is).

Forget Virgin.
Go to Librairie Antoine. If they don't have it, they will order it for you.
And the best thing is they usually (everytime for me atleast) for the same price written on the book!
On a side note, if you can find the book on Google's Play Book, you can use Lebanese cards to buy e-books from Google.

I'm guessing the Kindle option doesn't show up for you?

@jad594: You can use Calibre or other similar software to convert from the Kindle format to PDF and other formats after you buy and access your purchased e-book through the Kindle app, either the UWP version or the Win32 version (Kindle for Windows).

How are you getting it to show as Kindle version?

I will download the Kindle for windows app right now thanks!

Ok, showed up after I logged in. I hadn't logged into my account for a while and didn't notice the option before.

Edit: Also there is apparently a kindle reader for windows, android and ios so you can read the book on other devices. There is a link in amazon (amazing what happens when you sign in )
I am logged in and I downloaded the Kindle for windows app and I still dont see it... that is so weird.

Did you add a US payment option?
Yes I did using my card. This is annoying.

What card? EntroPay?
No I have a card I use for e-transactions from Blom Bank. And it was accepted by Amazon.

This was my first post on the subject.

Blom Bank will most likely not accept payments made with a billing address not provided by them, especially with a billing address this far away from their own (being a US address).

Also, even after the payment method, you might need to use a US VPN to access Amazon. That should make the Kindle e-book version show up.
I just opened up a entropay account but still cant see it. I added the entropay card, no luck.

Can you link me to a guide that shows me how to set this up? Thanks!
