Woohoo!
As expected Amhaz dropped the price from 790$ to 715$ this week :)
S6 Edge though is 200$ more!!
If you can wait, logically knowing Amhaz system over the last 6 years, next week the S6 will be at 680-690$
The week after (last week of April) 650$, 1st week of May it will be at 620-630$
It's better to wait these 2 weeks because I saw reports on XDA that the 1st batches are having scratches out of factory on the screen and even Amoled uneven pink tint, Amhaz bring out new batches every week so just be patient another 2 weeks if you ask me

I dunoo why are you praising amhaz, i know you are talking about the prices and whatnot, but lets talk other side of the story he is cheating the system, he doesnt pay any tva and whatnot. I still prefer to buy it from an official dealer than dealing with someone playing an unfair game.

I know he's cheating but CTC is cheating too by putting super overprices, they are both wrong. One is bringing phones without paying TVA and the other is literally stealing by selling his phone 125$ more than it should be.
The international official price (as CTC is the official dealer in Lebanon) is 700$, in France it costs 700 euros (705$) INCLUDING 19.5% TVA!!!!!! YES INCLUDING 19.5% TVA. So when CTC is claiming that its S6 is more expensive because of TVA he's just mocking us.
Samsung is not selling the S6 to CTC at 700$ per unit but most certainly 600 to 630$ as they are bringing thousands of them.
Look at Gomobile, they are the HTC official dealer, they are selling the M9 at the normal International Price of 750$, why could they and not CTC???
So yes I still prefer to buy from my friend delivery guy of Elmazad who is giving me 1 week warranty at the NORMAL price instead of paying an extra 150 to 175$ (price difference in 2 weeks) to millionaire guys who are stealing us.
If CTC was selling the S6 32gb at 730-750$ then decreasing it to 700$ in 2-3 weeks then I would have consider it, but I hate people stealing people under a name of ''official dealer''.
You will say ''that's Lebanon'' but yes it will still be like that as long as there are people who accept to be ripped off

This info is not from me but a friend told me (he has connections with ctc) that CTC also bring several batches without paying any tva :) You stressed a good point, but we are still discussing about two shops, if the top is cheating the system others will struggle or even follow.
vegetaleb, keep checking the reviews about battery life before you buy anything. It released on the 10th, so the 1-week-later reviews should be coming out in a few days. Give it extra importance because it's non-removable AND it's not big at all.
Sure it won't be as good as a N4 or Z3 but surely better than M9, probably on par with my 1 day battery of M8.
The good thing is that it comes with a quick charger, so it won't take an hour if I still have 40% battery left, though dunno if I can find a car quick charger.
I tested a N4 at Spinneys today 3G version, it was laggy as hell,closing or opening the drawer was slow, while the Note Edge near it was much faster and no lags, both were 4.4.4 but I think the N4 had much more bloatwares than the Note Edge.
The 5 S6 I tried at samsung event the other day had no lags but weren't faster than my M8, though of course better than this horrible N4 I tried today

Now about the 64gb, I asked a salesman at samsung showroom yesterday, he said it will come in 2 weeks, though I forgot to ask him if for Edge or normal S6.
As for black market they have not a single clue.
It looks like even in Europe there are no 64gb models yet, only the edge can be found in 64gb.
Any infos?

The price is dropping like crazy. This is the first time I see that. How come? What is special about this case?
Like I said the international price including Taxes is 700$ or 700 euros, amhaz is bringing them without any taxes, so they get them for perhaps 530-550$ per unit, be ready to see it at 640-650$ on Tuesday and 600-620$ last week of April.
Don't forget the 64gb version need space too, it will most probably be 600$ for 32gb and 700$ for 64gb when the prices will settle down.
@tt400 do you have any bt device using remote controls(play/pause,next previous tracks...)?
It's said that N4 and S6 have BT with AVRCP 1.4 and is not backward compatible with 1.3.

Yeah, I do. I have a Bose headset that works perfectly fine with the Note 4 running 1.4.

Getting the best hardware with the best UI is a dream coming true!
HTC has the best UI, the best looking phone and removable storage (and in the US, HTC Uh-Oh!), Samsung has the best hardware, shame we can't change hardware.

You can root your Samsung and your problems are done. Also, HTC might have been an option for me if they had removable batteries. That is the most important thing for me. In four years, I can order an aftermarket battery or a brand new stock battery and use my phone for another four years. With a non-removable battery, not only can you not change it yourself, but when you go to the company in 5 or 6 years and tell them to change your battery, they might tell you that your model is too old and they no longer support that kind of battery.

Removable batteries are ALWAYS a priority for me.

There's no real benefit from shipping it abroad (the only thing i would say buying it form legit dealer thru a legit process), its the same device you can find locally nothing special. So comrades don't do the same mistake i did, buy the 32gb if you are on a hurry (without any warrant) this is what i learned thru all this process.

Yes i know, but still i dont wanna deal with amhaz but now upon reading more the device is being assembled from different countries (china-vietnam-korea-uk) mine is from vietnam (in the back cover) what about you guys (if anyone got it)

They decreased the price of 10$ only today, so dunno if it's a poker bluff to make us think the price is settling down and not wait to next week or the week after, or they will really drop the price tomorrow like they did last Wednesday...
I will ask my friend of cell delivery this afternoon, if the price is gonna fall again this week or big drop next week he will be honest and tell me. I was ready to post a selling ad for my M8 today if the S6's price was 630$ but 670$ :/
Btw the delivery dude give you 1 week full warranty, if you get any pink tint on screen you can ask for a replacement right away

Edit: he told me the price is settle down, the price won't drop too much anymore (5-10$ per week) and no idea about the 64gb, it could come next week like in 3 months.

Ok guys sold my M8, now I am waiting for an answer from the delivery dude of elmazad to see how much he will sell the S6 to me today.
I checked with Amhaz this morning on telephone and they said it dropped to 640$ :)
There is brand new sealed units at 620$ in elmazad and 650$ at Cell70 with 1 year shop warranty, so I hope my friend of delivery will not ask for more than 640$ for the 1 week warranty

I just talked to the delivery dude, he still has the old price of 660$ but he reckoned he didn't go to the market today and won't before tomorrow.I can wait another 24h with my xperia Ray, it's worth waiting a couple of hours for 20$ :)
