vegetaleb wroteYep that's what all Note users said, once you get one you won't return to 5-5.2'' phones
Any scratches on the aluminum rims?
i have a 5'2 phone and planning to return to smaller phones :P
When will the new Android update 5 will be available for note 4?
Any ideas?
my note 3 neo duos is still on android 4.3 ... i think samsung forgot about us
No scratches yet but I have not dropped it.

Android 5.0.2 is rolling out for the Note 3 and Note 4 but very slowly. If you want to find out if it's out for your version, got to SamMobile and check your baseband.

Samsung was focusing on S6 the last weeks that's why they forgot about N4 but I think they will come back to N4's development soon enough

Yo guys! I got a note 4 3 days ago! N910C the exynos 4G version!

Did anyone get lollipop update yet!? I didn't...
You can root and flash a LP rom, Middle East is the last region for samsung

Well I'm intending on trying life without root so I'm gonna wait! I'm tired of modding!

I've got the N910G version and no LL yet. I'm reading though that it should be out in the next week or so. There were a few problems which caused the delay specifically for the Note 4.

Good! I can wait few days if they can provide us an issues-free experience! Hopefully...

So I updated to lollipop yesterday.
Did anyone try it?
The phone feels like a new phone now, fast and lag free.
Even yesterday, before the update, the phone was overheating for some reason, maybe because of heavy usage, but then, after the update, it was normal again.

Well I had it since a month ago (flashed official rom via odin) but the battery life sucks!

EDIT: Today I went to a site visit at work; left with 97% at 9:30am; at 3pm i had to turn on extreme battery saver mode at 30% with only 1:50h of screen time on!
My friend with his KK note 3 had 70% left with 1h screen time on being from 7:00am out of charger!
This is pathetic! Unacceptable!
Yes I admit that battery life drains quickly with the note 4.
I suggest you keep power saving mode on at all time, that's what i do.
When im out, i try not to use the phone too much as in applications or games, i just use whatsapp or phone.
And it lasts me the whole day.
I updated mine to 5.0.1 yesterday and I still need some time to fully get used to the new notifications and few different things but so far it's pretty cool. I usually browse alot when I'm out but the battery does last me nicely during the day, but once I played some games for a while and I noticed it drains the battery rather quick... but for browsing and general use it lasts nicely.... still, I gotta test it now after the update and compare how much it will last me during the day on browsing

My M9 is certainly better than S6 but I still prefer the Note 4/Edge screen most.
Are you still happy with your Note 4? Do you get easy scratch on the screen and metalic frame?
Personally if I had to switch back to samsung I would take a Note 4 over S6 anyday, the S6 has pink tint and board burnins defects
My friend got a Note Edge and it's really a wow looking phone even if he reckon the edge part is totally gimmick, I preferred it over the S6 Edge too.
Dude @vegetaleb
You are on a Rollercoaster with your phones.
Just buy one phone and stick with it!

If you want to try phones.. Go to ships and try the display xD
No I am keeping my M9, but I just recommend for people who definitely want a samsung phone to get a Note 4 instead of S6.
Note 5 is not far anyway, I am curious to see if they will keep the sd card and Edge option or not...

Well I'm kinda disappointed with the note 4!

Battery life is bad! Even on kitkat my Oneplus one smocked the hell out of it! On lollipop 5.0.2 nowadays I can barely get 3hrs SOT during my day and barely reach home at 7/8pm! That is with low usage of fb, whatsapp, etc... no gaming whatsoever!
I'm an android power user so even with root, greenify, better battery stats or wakelock detector I couldn't detect anything specific draining the battery! It's the whole system fucked up!

Besides ram management sucks as always on samsung phones! I barely have 400mb of free ram even on custom debloated roms! That's unacceptable! And the usual saying "free ram is wasted ram" doesn't apply because most of the ram is taken by the system and by samsung apps/services which leaves nothing for the user himself! That's the real waste!

I thought samsung improved over the note 3 with the note 4 but it looks that i was wrong! Besides battery life in real life usage is much better on the note 3!

Anyways I cannot recommend a samsung phone to anyone except for: -people who extremely need their features over anything else -people who want a great camera over anything else. Any power user who needs real multitasking (keeping many apps in ram without being closed) should definitely look elsewhere!

However I'll give mine another chance waiting for 5.1 update!

Peace!
