MSI GTX 970 Gaming OC all the way ; been using it for a nearly a month now I will SLI in couple of days ; brilliant design with its Twin Frozer (V5) runs passive with case side 120cm fan for 1-2 hours of gaming at 1440p .. The GTX 970 G1 Gaming is way too long ; you need a full tower case for better air circulation/ventilation plus it pushes a lot of hot air from start to shut down to the system (three fans) .. I prefer passive graphic cards more smart with less overheat especially if you tend to SLI in the future. G1 and MSI differes in 1-3 FPS in games so difference is negligible on the screen in real gaming scenarios.
Be aware that every GTX 970 has different ports, the Gainward has 1 HDMI 1 Displayport and 2 DVI while the Zotac has 1 Mini-HDMI 3 Displayport and 1 DVI...so you can end up having to chase for a cable before using the GPU!
Displayport is not an advantage for TVs as none of them has this port, only a very few PC monitors have it.
For rich people who can afford a +2000$ 4K TV be sure to check if it has HDMI 2.0 or you will end up playing at 24hz!!

Ramnesia wroteFinally the gigabyte gtx970 g1 gaming is available on amazon gonna order it ASAP and shipping it with Borderlinx.
Why gigabyte ?
It's 10~20$ more compared to other models, way longer (16" vs 11") and it weights more (costs more)

P.S wait a couple of days, nvidia is giving a bundle with GTX 970 & 980 cards.

You can choose Far Cry 4 or Assasin Creed or The Crew ;-)
I checked amazon again and compared both weights the Msi card is heavier, they should be right about these things.
gigabyte 2.4 pounds
Msi 3.7 pounds

Thank you for telling me about the bundle i m gonna wait a couple of days and see if it is gonna be available on amazon.

As far as i know msi throttles under heavy loads (max overclock) but not by much against the G1 add to this is the way their heatsink cover the VRM. And im planning to overclock the hell out of it.

Did you check this thread?

Unfortunately Amazon isn't offering the pick a game Bundle New Egg is but i cannot buy from them.

Amazon and other stores doesn't give accurate weight.

I've got 2 gtx 980 strix cards, Amazon US & NCIX says shipping weight is 4lb (1.9Kg), Amazon UK says 0.998Kg, the carrier said 2.2Kg and my digital scale said 2287 grams !

You're welcome, just wait till amazon refresh their current stock.
Of course i did..
Update: Amazon is offering the bundle.
Please Give me the Link of the Bundle at Amazon
Search for msi gtx 970 on amazon and try to choose the one from amazon not the other sellers. It should be under the title promotions on the same page.
I m trying to send you the link but all i get is the other sellers offer cause it is now temporarily out of stock. Try to add it to the cart or something.
When i ordered the gigabyte the offer was there. And i talked to their costumer service and they said the code will be in the box.
Guys why not wait for black Friday ?
Looks like Zotac GTX970 is the most silent one, it has 2 DVI , 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport instead of minis.
Gainward has the best price with an incoming 305 euros offer in amazon France!
I hope amazon.fr will do the same for Zotac
nefe_lpmk wroteGuys why not wait for black Friday ?
I don't think new GPU's will be included in black friday sales.I could be wrong though.
I was checking amazon available black friday sale, all i see is GTX600 series, GTX700 series and AMD Radeon cards.
Tech Guru wrotePlease Give me the Link of the Bundle at Amazon
Look for the cards sold by Amazon, you can tell if you read the word "Prime", must be in stock or offered by Amazon, MSI/ASUS 970's are all out of stock.

But I've found these :

970's:

EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 + bundle

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4GB + bundle

Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB + bundle

PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 970 4GB + bundle

980's :

EVGA GTX 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0 + bundle

Gigabyte GV-N980G1 GAMING-4GD G1 + bundle
Me i will wait Until Christmas to see what will happen to the prices/ more offers.
Or wait until they release the next version of 980.
Maybe 980ti, or 980 with more Ram.
Who knows.

Gtx 960ti Boost OC ;)
60?
You kidding me?
I will definitely go for the 80. xD

By the way, thanks for replying my PM ;)
Looks like the Gigabyte 970 is the most powerful one (but largest one too)
MSI Gaming and Palit Jetstream are very close in terms of noise and performance and are both above many other brands like Gainward ,PNY and Evga.
The problem now with GTX 970 is that it's so demanded that they have stocks shortage in Europe, a brand can be in stock today but not tomorrow and for weeks!
You can find up to 50$ difference for the same card on different shops, but from experience I recommend Amazon.fr for delivery time perfection, they are perhaps 10 euros more expensive but when they say 3 days delivery they mean it.
Stay away of ''discount'' shops as they can take up to 3weeks to deliver instead of 3-5 days
I got a delivery estimate from amazon US, it will be delivered on November 12 to Borderlinx warehouse in Ohio.(Not subjected to state Taxes)
Only hoping i don't get screwed by the Lebanese customs.

May the force be with you..
+20 to 25% on object price+ delivery, it depends on the mood of the customs guy!
What a great country we live in
Been Playing Calling of Duty Advanced Warfare on my GTX 970 (MSI Gaming) and it runs like a charm with all setting maxed out ; super sampling anti-aliasing (2x) on 1440p :) ; Have any body experienced gaming linking the Graphic Card to a 1080p TV (40inch) and what is the best joystick you can use (by experience).
