But MSI GTX 970 are known to have a noisy coil fault, it's recommended to take another brand like evga or Asus.
Exemple: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2315904/msi-gtx-970-coil-whine.html

As for dot.com.lb , you choose the product you want on Amazon or ebay US, you send an email with its web address to dot.com.lb, they won't take a deposit if under a certain amount but a transportation fee that you will pay once the product is at their office, they ship every 2 weeks I think so you should count 2 to 4 weeks to get your product,I never bought from them but I talked to their mnager once and it's a great idea for people who need PC parts directly from the US without paying an extra 300$ for Lebanese shops ;)
EVGA -The ACX cooler used on the EVGA GTX 970 appears to have a manufacturing defect.rnrnTechPowerup's picture: http://i.imgur.com/acvOFnY.jpgrnrnBit-Tech's picture: http://i.imgur.com/O63MVHx.jpgrnrnIt's worth mentioning, this appears to be EVGA's first attempt at making an HDT (Heatpipe Direct Touch) heatsink. The previous ACX models weren't designed like that . As for the MSI it has been running on my setup like a shine ; for coil wining the majority of cards are suspect-able to it not Only MSI .. You tube Coil Wining and watch several videos including Asus and Gegabyte.
Can i enable DSR 2K/4K on non FHD monitors ?
(1280*720 and 1680*1050 monitors)

Can i enable DSR & 3D Vision together ?

Can't find such info anywhere..

its really funny to see that dumbass who first took apart the card and made this claim without even having any idea about thermal design, make such an influence on thousands of people on the internet who also used some common sense to realize he is true. well it is really sad that EVGA will lose sales on their graphic cards because of a faulty stupid claim by an ignorant "specialist", good luck EVGA in dealing with him

In my book the cooler is designed to be like that, EVGA is saving costs by using a well known method, although not the best design out there but still is efficient and saves cost. anyway it's impossible that this "manufacturing defect" made 3 heatpipes be machined couple Cm to one side and everything still fit together perfectly lol.

here is the image i edited to show some facts about this design i.imgur.com/pwMLNp9.jpg

Edit: just found a picture of an old EVGA GTX 760 its exactly the same design, so that proofs my point in that they did cut costs by using previous designs and apparently not a manufacturing defect but rather an EVGA method of doing it (which works). http://forums.evga.com/download.axd?file=0;2220503.
EVGA's ACX 2.0 just runs a little louder than other coolers. It's not bad at all if you don't care about noise and just want to save some money

thx for the reply but you did not provide sufficient info like, which one exactly should i get and why ? (performance, quality, noise, price ... etc) but thanks anyway
Keep in mind there are 2 kinds of GTX 970, one ''normal'' and one overclocked aka OC.
Of course the OC is slightly faster but will use more energy and will make more noise.
I hope I will get a Gainward or Zoltac GTX 970 by the end of the month from France, here 970 are +200$ more.
If you want a nice price you can with dot.com.lb but you will have to be patient as it can goes up to a month for delivery.
Battlefield 4 and 2K DSR is so much better than plain 1080p with my 650ti Boost OC that I want even more fps and games with 2K DSR now :)
As being a 4 years game card for DSR I doubt it as in many reviews the 970 is already just good on 2K and 4Kwith actual games, next gen games will be even slower, now if you want to use plain 1080p then it will be good for 4 years.

-MSI GTX 970 pros: -Formidable cooling.
-Looks great.
-Has a hybrid cooling system, so when the card is running below 50 degrees C the fans do not turn at all thus eliminating noise.
-Built by a trusted manufacturer
-Comes with a backplate
-MSI GTX 970 cons: -A little thick, so it doesn't fit in cases like the Silverstone RVZ01
-Some cards have coil whine issues

-EVGA GTX 970 pros: -EVGA's formidable customer service
-The FTW version runs at higher clocks than the MSI GTX 970
-EVGA GTX 970 cons: -No backplate
-Runs a little louder than the MSI one
-No hybrid fan mode
hey guys
if i ship a gtx 970 through shop and ship how much will i pay on customs ?
Can you put any GTX 970 in a Thermaltake Commander MS-I?
vegetaleb wroteCan you put any GTX 970 in a Thermaltake Commander MS-I?
Yes the Commander MS-I fits GPUs up to 320mm, the ASUS GTX 970 is 280mm, the MSI GTX 970 is 269mm, the EVGA GTX 970 is 241mm and the Gigabyte GTX 970 is 312mm.

Edit: The Gigabyte one will be a somewhat tight fit.

1- If you ship from S&S NY USA you'll be charged 9% tax by NY state

2- If you're lucky enough, the guys at the customs will value your items based on original value or invoice (items+9%tax)

3- You'll be charged 10% vat of the value + 5% customs of the value + 3300L.L overtime + 2200L.L stamps + 11000L.L clearance

4- Add S&S shipping fee

*Note that sometimes lebanese customs apply the 5% and sometimes they don't ! (i was charged on a vga but not on a motherboard)

If you ship a GPU with Borderlinx/DHL.
The entire extra payment (other than the GPU price) you'd have to pay would be something of a 80-90$.

Ramnesia wroteFinally the gigabyte gtx970 g1 gaming is available on amazon gonna order it ASAP and shipping it with Borderlinx.
Why gigabyte ?
It's 10~20$ more compared to other models, way longer (16" vs 11") and it weights more (costs more)

P.S wait a couple of days, nvidia is giving a bundle with GTX 970 & 980 cards.

You can choose Far Cry 4 or Assasin Creed or The Crew ;-)
