Yep no FUP whatsoever day or night...
Since the beginning of this month I'm on the $16 (18.70 with VAT and collection charge) plan and I no longer have connection issues and 40GB is way enough for downloading at any time.

Does any one know what is that "collection charge" of $1 ? We've been paying this for a few months now.

No idea bro. And yes while 40gb is enough for you, or most, me and my mom YouTube all day long, sometimes full movies, from YouTube yep, and 3 hour long events, so 50gb is better for us, sometimes more. So 2 recharges/month...
@Red7 Could it be for bank transfer? I also saw that and i use bank transfer to pay my bill...

Yeah, if you consume a lot on a daily basis you'll be better off with a wider limit.
I download a lot of movies and sometimes watch a lot of youtube videos but not every day all day long so I don't believe it's going to exceed 40GB.

I think it is. What bothers me is that they didn't take anything before May 2014. They always find new ways to take your money.
I'd check with your local bank. Maybe they are charging IDM for the withdrawal and IDM passed that charge on to its customers (which happens to all customers around the world).. except they have speeds surpassing 100 Mbps and we are still living in a cave...

Yeah. The sweet spot where 1gb is cheapest is the 40gb package. So even if it's not enough for me, I don't mind refilling twice or even 3 times a month.

2x$18=$36 for total of 80gb instead of $27.5 for 50gb. And 3x$18=$54 for 120gb etc...

Best solution

Oh you use recharge cards. It's indeed much smarter in your case.
Why your upload is 512k, shouldn't it be 1mbps ?
Good point. I don't think the CO I'm connected to can give more than 512 Kbps up..

Yep. I don't have nor will I ever have a bank account. Don't trust them. I get paid in cash, pay in cash. And also from my friend's experience domiciliation is bad coz they rob you blind.
Has IDM received extra bandwidth? My connection has been stable for at least 3 days.. good news.. hope it will stay like that

Same here. Connection has never been better. Weird.

Side note to all. I just had a guy sent my way by IDM to check on things. He explained to me something shocking. It seems that IDM doesn't employ a support team. It actually get fresh IT graduates, trains them, and rotates constantly. Everything they ask you or tell you is scripted. And no matter how loud you scream at them they will never scream back. Basically don't trust them.

Who can we trust you ask? Well he told me to call support once in case of trouble for them to open a case file then call CCU.

Just an FYI.
to support your point, i actually sent an e-mail to IDM support this time and they opened a case file for me. After a few days my internet became stable (in fact download at night is also really good). so basically talking to support fixed things. I asked them if thy received extra bandwidth from the ministry and they didn't comment.. lol.. i never knew what was wrong though...

and btw, i've paid IDM (well my parents actually) via bank transfers since the early 1990s (dial up era) and never had any problems.

Must have reached CCU. But now I have one thing left to do, get my line cable off of the electricity line where the electrician put it causing my Internet to fluctuate constantly. What an idiot.
interestingly the reply was from support not CCU even though i do get emails from CCU.
