Today I called them again, talked with a very serious tone and told them that I am not convinced that my line can't handle 4mps. When I told the tech that from my SNR and attenuation I can see that there should be no problems, he asked me to give him the modem's stats, up/down speed, SNR and attenuation. Then he said that they will look further into it and notify me if it will work and what's the reason preventing it from working in case it won't. A little hope to cling to.

Just visit your account info on the 4th it should say that you been switched. If it doesn't call them.
Hi I ve switched my plan from 2mbps unlimited to 4 mbps 50. Changes must apply today. Any idea at what time? in my idm account it says that i m subscribed to 2 mbps unlimited.

for me it stated that "your current plan is 1 mbps unlimited" and under it "your next plan is 2 mbps 30GB"
for me it says:
"Your previous account type was Audi ADSL 2 Mbps 20GB
Your current account was switched to Audi ADSL 2048K Unlimited"

and by previous they mean 1 month ago before the new plans. Current is past month( july 1 to 31)

Ive switched mine from 2mb 40gb to 4mb changes must apply monday i just called idm support to check but the surprise is the support guy wants me to call on monday to know if it will apply to 4mb or not

He told me that plan changes have been delayed 1 month and that i wont get 4 mbps till next month... BUT they told me about it after paying the 4 mbps price plus the 10000LL for plan change. If they had told me before giving them my money i wld have totally agreed but the way they ripped me off is untolerable...

REALLY !!! Plan changes have been delayed again !!!
Yes plan upgrades delayed another month. All that is due to instability.

Also just called them again to see why this is happening



Will have to call back moment it happens which usually is around FNQ time.

Yep Today I got a call they the feasibility results are not in yet and so my account will not be upgraded. Even though my line is already on 8M. So no speed update this month too
I ve been trying to call extension 2 for 3 days and they are not answering.
last month i ordered the 4mbps plan but they cldnt do it due to the delay which means i m back to 2mbps unlimited.
I woke up today and found that the speed is 0.15 mbps while my consumption is very low to be fup'ed.... could it be?

Seems that you have been put on a monthly FUP for no reason. That is BS. You could have just refilled with a limited 2mbps plan which is exactly what I did. Now you have to suffer another month of this shit.

I, on the other hand, am suffering from my modem disconnecting randomly setting my speed to 576kbps instead of 2mbps which is causing slow downloads during FNQ time. Utter shit.

My case spans all the way back to April. Still no solution in sight.

At the beggining of the month i call them and get informed that they are sorry to tell me that the changes have been delayed for an additional month and that my plan is unlimited for now. IT IS THE SUPPORTS FAULT! HE SHLD HAVE WARNED ME BEFORE CHANGING. I cld have chosen the 2mbps limited...
But why wld he?... Why wld they want to get paid 25$ from me when they are stealing 50?... IDM 's purpose: GET YOUR MONEY.
he also told me to call extension 2 to switch to a limited plan. i called and no one was answering.

I have no more reasons to stay at this shitty isp...

It's up to you. Now if you chose to stay with IDM you can switch to limited once cycle is over.

It seems that all >2mbps plans are having issues. That's why I stayed on 2mbps. Most people on that plan are happy.

Call them and ask to talk to a manager and that you wish to file a complaint. Explain to him your situation and tell him that you don't want an unlimited plan to begin with, they can't force you to pay for something you do not want.
At least that seems like the most logical solution to do. If that doesn't work, go to their head office in person and make sure you sound serious [yelling doesn't count]. The calmer you are, the more intimated by you they'll be.
