Do you think customs have like half day now work due to Ramadan?
If so it could explain why they are so late in releasing items, any way I was so happy to buy from aliexpress but now due to this experience I will never do it again, better wait that someone goes to Europe or US so I buy online Amazon.
Libanpost is giving me the same answer day after day ''it's in the hands of customs''

i have an item there too, there's certainly a flood of parcels. It's summer everyone orders small stuff like you said earlier, glasses, necklace, shorts etc... less than 5$ each.

I want to share with you guys what happened to me with aliexpress the past month:
I orders some ICs and i received them after the specified delivery time, when i checked them they turn to be another type of ICs (low price) not usable to me, i contacted the seller and he said he will re send the correct ICs, after few days i asked him if he send the correct ICs, he said yes and gave me the tracking number.
After tracking the package over LibanPost and waiting to exit the customs suddenly it was delivered to another distant area, first i thought it was a mistake by LibanPost but then I knew that the seller played it very well, he made me think that the tracking number is for me, and wait it to be delivered, so when i want to open dispute i wont be able because the time will be over.
There's nothing i can do now not even complaining to aliexpress, the next time i will open dispute immediately.

Never trust them, some sellers are honest, others are bastards. they have access to a wide range of active tracking numbers.

About the shipments numbers without letters, could Libanpost track them if they are in Lebanon?
NuclearVision
vegetaleb wroteAbout the shipments numbers without letters, could Libanpost track them if they are in Lebanon?
No, it is impossible. Because these numbers are not based on international nomenclature, every company would use its own serial numbering.
DNA
they can be tracked only once they reach your local office.

Can someone explain how would items B and C go to post office while item A stays in clearance and was held and released before B and C?! Don't things go by order?

Perhaps it is, like you said, held, and you might need to clear it.
contact liban post.

Just like any item it was "held by customs" then after few days "released from customs (import)" but what's not normal is that after the release newer items managed to go to post office while this item stayed as is. I will contact them but I hope they can be of real assistance not just read off their tracking system "item in customs clearance"

I have ordered 7 items, six were delivered but the last one which is a 22usd VR goggle is still in the customs for over 30 days now..I have extended the delivery term with the supplier....but that's weird..

My VR took 10 day before they release it, when I got it the nylon over the box was ripped, perhaps they wanted to be sure it's not a samsung Gear VR as it looks like it, they want to spot ''branded'' stuff that have wakil in Lebanon so they make you pay customs, so they are investigating with CTC?

Ouffff what a big deal..they should know by now that at Aliexpress they can make a copy of a human being..

Just an update concerning those parcels with numeric tracking numbers:
- I received them all
- They take more time than usual *CN* parcels.
- Expect to receive them after the initial 60 days, so you have to extend the purchase protection.
- Tracking is impossible until it reaches Lebanon, Libanpost will display information on their website.
- Libanpost service is actually good. Very kind and even though one parcel was "lost" since the address was not clear, they actually helped me a lot to retrieve it back. (It was a 1$ usb cable, the phone calls they made to me probably costs more)
- P.O.Box service is good, you get the item to your box and you don't pay any additional fee.
- One benefit for the numeric tracking numbers is that they don't stay for weeks in the airport for inspection...

About the tracking, it never works for me, for non standard china post ****CN
Just tried it with a parcel i already received. It showed no data found.

Just today item D got out of customs and went to local post office and item A which arrived before B, C, D is still in customs! What is going on?!
Funny thing item A is the item i care about the most, it's released from customs yet never went to local post office like late brothers... So sad.
NuclearVision
What's that item A about anyway?
Romanvian
NuclearVision wroteWhat's that item A about anyway?
Nothing suspicious.

I've seen such items.
Call libanpost, tell them your item is not in customs. Usually after clearance item goes to libanpost.

Can they help if their tracking system on their website still says item at customs clearance? Other trackers say it's released from customs ( after being held by customs) which i guess gives the impression that it's safe and good to go...
