What did you do to tackle this? You need to check it with Libanpost and they should help you deal with it. You should not let it slide, but you will need tangible proof.
What I've learned about the delay at the customs is that there are only two customs agents who are not being able to handle the quantities coming in from china. The question is why they're not doing anything to fix this? And most of all, what can we do to make them fix it faster.
Two customs agents? Hard to believe. As in the post I just posted 5 minutes ago, 45,000 Chinese parcels, only Chinese, arrive to the airport each single month, two agents would need till 2018 to release that number to Libanpost. There must be a least a hundred customs agents working on the clock. And yes, I have proof: Digital weight. Well I find it really impossible to accuse Libanpost because they would automatically take the responsibility off their shoulders by saying that the airport customs are the ones who might open packages not Libanpost. And of course even if you provide proof of weight to Lebanese customs they would say we never steal, and of course throw blames on Libanpost or even Chinese airmail. Back and forth. Trust me this has not, is not, and will not lead anywhere. Never. And they couldn't care less, they want us to know we are being robbed. That's their purpose so people would stop buying electronically.
