  • Font rendering on Mac, Safari vs. Chrome

So I have a Mac Book Pro Retina and I just installed Chrome on it. I compared the font on Chrome and Safari and there is an obvious difference in clarity, Safari being the one with clear crisp and smooth fonts. I want to use Chrome since it is my browser of choice, but Safari wins hands down when it comes to readability of text, any ideas?
if you want to be really disgusted check Chrome Windows font rendering even with some nice Webfonts.
It might be relatively easily to isolate the reason given thay they both use WebKit.
Can you post a screenshot of the this page in the two browsers?

Well the main issue is that very few applications take advantage of Apple's new retina display. Safari has been updated to use retina quality. Chrome still needs an update. Wait a couple of weeks, they will release an update eventually.
you can use Canary for the time being until the new official version, that promises to fix this issue, is released.
