yes you go to your co and apply there and pay 63000 for the 10GB package if you have a router or 163000 if you need new one.
AVOlio wroteHow do I apply for ogero guys?
I tried online application once, but nothing.
Do I go like to the central where we pay the phone bills and apply there?

After you apply online, you should wait 2 weeks (They process it internally). Then go to the central and pay for the package. I think they will force you to buy the router (It will be preprogrammed to your settings on arrival) with the package at least that is what happened for me. If you managed not to get the router, you can buy much better routers for almost half their price.
@khatib1 i told him exactly what to do and what he has to pay so why post something that is wrong first of all if you apply online you failed because they will make you wait longer u should directly go and fill the application there.
second thing no they dont force you to buy a router so why did you tell him that, you can freely choose but if you want to bring your own router you have to take it to mina alhosn but you pay 63000 only compared to 163000 if they give you a crappy thomson.
Thanks @DNA
Im gonna stop my Wise connection this month, and apply for another time, to a different ISP.
Hopefully Ogero will be the final one .
Are you sure about the price ? like Exact 63 000 LBP ?
Also, where is Mina alhosn ? you mean they have to program my router if im gonna bring my own, thats why ?
It takes like 1 or 1,5 months right ?

That is what i did i went and filled the application at my CO i told them that i want to bring my own router so they charged me 63,000 for 1Mbps 10GB and told me to take my router to Mina Al Hosn central(look up Mina Alhosn at google maps so you'll know where it is) so i went to Mina Al Hosn after couple of days they took the router from me and gave me a paper that states that i gave them a router and after 1 month they came and installed the router at my home.

so this is exactly what you should do, and please don't fill an online application because it will set you back 2 weeks because when you go to your CO they will tell you that you already applied online and you will have to wait for confirmation from Ogero headquarters and after that you can come and fill the application so they will make you wait 2 weeks before you can pay and fill the application.

@DNA I won't get into an argument but if you can read properly, the guy already applied online so if he has waited 2 weeks he can start the process directly. 2nd point was my own experience (at least that is what happened for me) and I mentioned not to get router so I am with you on this point.
Third thing this is an open forum and multiple user experiences are allowed.
I changed from Sodetel and now I am on Ogero. The entire process was done in 10 days! I myself still can't believe it.

It did take a couple of calls to get them to install the router fast, but the point of the story is, the configuration and stuff from the central don't seem to take time.

Hello 100 ms latency, I missed you so...
If Ogero offers 1M Unlimited with that ping at 30$ a month, I shall throw my money to my screen :)
Alright so I made the mistake of applying to Ogero DSL online before reading this thread. Its been exactly 2 weeks with no replies whatsoever, so I called their customers hotline complaining and the support guy replied "we stopped this a long time ago". Can anyone confirm this or was the dude just high? I also asked whether I can get my own router he said of course. Could anyone recommend a good wireless ADSL router?

<edit: no Arabic in latin characters, please>
They probably never had that feature, just for show... I also thought their support number is for show. I remember calling it before and getting a series of voice machines answer before finally getting through to this tech genius who would be no use to me at all.

I don't know what routers are good, but ogero's router is very bad. I have 2 of their technicolor routers, their wifi keeps breaking up and reconnecting.

Ok.
so I went to the central in saloume today to pay the phone bill, I asked to fill an application, the woman said you can't here.
she said I have to go to jdeide.
14 days later
i m applying for ogero dsl. if anyone can tell me what wireless modem do they give you? is it good? can i use another modem?
they give you the worst wireless modem ever created for 100 000 LL (it breaks up every 30 seconds or so and reconnects which is enough to break the downloads you are doing on mobile/laptop) And no it is not just my router, because we subscribed to ogero twice(and my dad too lazy to have the old modem reconfigured just paid for a new one) and both routers, identical technicolor routers have the exact same problem.

I think you can take your own modem and have them configure it for you. I think you'd have to go down to the ministry in achrafieh or something(though not sure)

technicolor sucks trust me i tried them try TP-Link ADSL2 or Linksys ADSL2+
ok then. but do they make you pay for the modem even if you don't want it?
Ramnesia wroteok then. but do they make you pay for the modem even if you don't want it?
No, the subscription and the modem are 2 different things. Get an ADSL2+ Modem, and they will set it up for you once your service is activated. Just don't get any modem/router in the market, do your research. You may end up with one that is worse than the ones Ogero supplies.
thank you. any suggestion other than TP-Link ADSL2 or Linksys ADSL2?
To be more specific TP-Link
54Mbps Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router
ADSL2+ TD-W8901G
&
150Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router
TD-W8151N
i found TP-Link TD-W8961N for 53$ and TP-link TD-W8951N for 40$. what do you think?
