Guys, i am really stuck with this since the "Auto Upgrade" to Open Speed.

My connection has been running fine (4MB) and it was awesome until the upgrade to Open Speed.
The modem is Syncing at 1MB usually, best speed was 2 MB (only once)

Here are my stats and Modem Configuration, i would really appreciate help, since Ogero support is not able to help

Try syncing on ADSL2+ instead of ADSL2.
I was so happy a month ago, when everyone in my area was using G.DMT, I was getting 1.5mbps on ADSL2+, now, after all the modems got reconfigured and G.DMT got cancelled, I'm getting an average of 700kbps. There was just one night during the entire month (after midnight) where I was able to reach 1.5mbps, but never again.

Numerous calls and attempts and no luck in getting anything over 1mbps again. I seriously don't know what to do anymore.
I have downloaded 170 GB so far (11 days into the month) on my ogero 2mb unlimited. If anyone still has any doubts that ogero does not limit bandwidth at all...

I am going for a record on the 2mb unlimited...

What is your modem?
Can't you configure it to ADSL2+ yourself? They used to switch it to ADSL to limit my speed the first 10 days when the new plans were launched, every time I reconfigured it back to ADSL2+ to bring back the speed again. The excuse back then that I didn't have a stable line that's why they reduced the speed, but in reality it was their own installation in the area that was bad
Anyone has noticed any crapping out with Ogero these past days? Line drops every several hours or at least twice a day, lower sync speeds, yesterday it was raining CRC errors, lag spikes in games. I'm on open speed btw.

EDIT: Hell even the usage page didn't update yet since tuesday night.

On OpenSpeed this week, my speed has dropped from 1,700 KB/s to 1,300 KB/s.
5th time line drops in the past 3 hours. This is a glorious day.
Anyone noticing a rise in ping? Usually getting 61ms, past week it's been 80+ with a bit of packet loss.

Yea that too.. Line is rarely dropping now barely once day usually in the afternoon since I sync at a high speed during morning and it can't handle it in the afternoon when the congestion rises or something. But yea ping is higher but I found out if you actually get yourself an ip in the range of 77.x it returns to normal.
How do you go about doing that? Just restarting router?
dio wroteHow do you go about doing that? Just restarting router?
Well there is an easier way, just logon to your modem on your browser and disconnect and manually reconnect until you get an ip starting with 77. An ip starting with 94 is also good for gaming it has low ping. A 172 ip is usually shit and has like 30 40 ms higher ping for some reason. Of course this only applies for Ogero other DSL providers have different ips I don't know how their setup is.
Fantastic! Thanks a lot man.

Hey guys, so i have my router directly set up next to the telephone line, does it affect the performance? A friend told me to install a line filter for the router. What do you guys think?

Install the router at the "mother" telephone line in your house, the one that directly comes up from the phone box to your apartment. A filter is needed if you actually use your home phone, otherwise you don't need it.

Besides those small things, it really all depends on the cleanliness of your building's phone box downstairs, as well as how far away you are from the nearest central.
Anyone else facing lots of CRC and some disconnections on Ogero this week ? SNR sudden fluctuations. I'm on G.DMT btw.

None. Check any interference any your home mate.
Is it me or the DSL today is horrific?
I got about 100 line drops this this morning, can't get more than 5 minutes of steady internet

I got lots of crcs these past 3 or 4 days, on adsl2+ but connection is stable
I noticed that it mostly happens during what so called "congestion times", if it was something from my side it wouldn't happen at specific times in the afternoon or around midnight. Never during the morning or very late at night. I also noticed it happens when the internet is getting pressured with heavy use like several devices using wifi constantly during those times or if I'm playing online Dota 2. And maybe just maybe, it only happens during those times when I'm synced at high speeds like 11mbps or so, never did when I was synced at around 8. The thing is when it happens SNR drops from around 11 to 3 or 4 for like 5 to 10 seconds giving me a ton (thousands of CRC) and comes back to normal, sometimes not everytime the internet light will just go off or go red. It suddenly started to happen this past week, never before. I live in Kab-Elias area in Bekaa. Also noticed that a friend of mine suffers from something similar today, his connection rarely drops but he still lags in games and gets high amount of CRC. He lives a bit far from CO and he barely can sync at 7.5 mbps usually so maybe that's the reason he doesn't get too many line drops.

EDIT: Well I guess I was wrong, just happens as when I try to download and I'm using the internet heavily, SNR drops gradually to a point the errors start to show up, what can this be? Hardware issue? I will try changing modulation to see if anything happens.
