Guys, i have question about interleaving.

What will happen when i turn off interleaving? Will it reduce speed and improve latency?
Will ogero do it for me or i have to do it by myself?

I don't have ogero yet but replying to these questions will help me decide to which isp i will switch.

Thanks in advance!
I turned off interleaving,
And my ping to my favorite BF4 servers went down significantly, from 90-100 to 60-70ms.

The way you do it, is to send an email to ogero employees (you can check everything on the last few pages in this thread) and basically they will do it for you.

And turning off interleaving had zero effect on my speed. I am 2mbps unlimited and i am getting every kilobyte of that speed.
Well i guess the speed part is relevant to the quality of your connection. (cables/distance from central etc..).
Hello avo!!

Thank you for helping me :) i will switch to ogero
anyone experiencing packet loss in CSGO between 6 p.m and 12 a.m? and ping increasing by 15-20 ms...

Same here. ~5% loss in Dota 2.

Hey Avo,
I'm currently subscribed to Sodetel Blue plan (16Mbps 80Gb Quota).
I have two questions:
1- I don't think I'm receiving 16Mbps but around 8 to 11 instead --> Should I switch to 8Mbps plan?
2- Can I email Sodetel about interleaving as well or is Ogero only capable of turning it off? (I have very limited knowledge about interleaving :p).

Thank you.
Guys is there a way to find out if I can get 2Mbps or not?
(I don't want to subscribe and end up with "there's a problem with your line here's 0.5Mbps)
I've heard that these things sometimes happen.

Yeah just check your line attenuation, you should find your line stats in your router's home gateway.
Ping timeouts with Ogero right now anyone ?
I've had 2Mbps from OGERO for 1 year now, and I had no problems whatsoever since then.
Ping is stable, download speed is stable. At least that's what I wanted, don't know about you guys, but I think Ogero is the one of the best ISPs in Lebanon, if not the best.

I live in Metn by the way.

My friends are with sodetel, they say that their FUP is so severe, even on limited plans, that they can't sign in to PSN. Just try playing gta ,bo3 and destiny with them.

Can confirm. Didn't last a month with them.

VISP changed. I've been with them through three resellers since the mid 2000s back in the 64kbit days then as a direct subscriber. Recent events don't inspire confidence. It's like barely anyone ever mentions VISP anymore, no more free nightly traffic, and their support seems to avoid direct interaction. I quietly pay the monthly subscription to their bank account and my only contact with them is Nuclearcat.
Wow, so much hate. That makes me feel like I'm the luckiest Sodetel customer alive.
if i wanna switch to ogero will i have no internet for a long time?

I am a victim of the above as well and I completely agree. Even an electric potato would do the job better than Sodetel. Changing to Ogero in 2016 hopefully.
