My friends are with sodetel, they say that their FUP is so severe, even on limited plans, that they can't sign in to PSN. Just try playing gta ,bo3 and destiny with them.
I am a victim of the above as well and I completely agree. Even an electric potato would do the job better than Sodetel. Changing to Ogero in 2016 hopefully.

Any one know how can I monitor my monthly consumption on daily bases , is there a 3rd party application from Ogero. I am on 6 to 8 Mbps 60 for 65,000 L.L (no Unlimited Cap for nights) , but I am paying about 200,000LL per month (definitely extra usage) but I always prefer faster/responsive internet on storage caps (limited vs unlimited). I enjoy everything , from online gaming , some downloads, YouTube etc..

Why don't you bookmark ogero dsl account (consumption ) page ?
and you can check your consumption daily. I don't think there's an app for that.

Well there's
GlassWire but it probably doesn't monitor the usage of anything other than the device it's on (be it a desktop or laptop). I think it has a limit of 30 days history at any given moment which is what I think you need.

Yes i recommend glasswire but it can only monitor your pc data consumption and provide detailed usage analysis, how much each app is consuming per day, week or month and you can block apps, and the soft can be cracked

Currently I am on Ogero 2mbps unlimited and I have cableguy connection also. Cableguy is getting from Ogero also, I am thinking about stopping ogero because 50$ for 2mbps is too expensive, (my bill in the end of the month come around 100.000LL). Cableguy have the same ping and 2mbps speed, but with that FUP thing, until 1GB i get full speed and after 12am my speed is doubled to 4mbps.
What do you guys think? Should I stop ogero subscription ?
ragdoll
I'd say stick to Ogero if it's feasible. Cableguy can be nice cableguy one day, and bad cableguy the next.

What the hell, I've never seen a cable guy like yours.
And as ragdoll said, you can't trust a cable guy.

I have a cable guy in my area who claims an up to 16Mbps fiber optics connection.
But the coverage is done wirelessly...
My relatives were once subscribed to a cable guy too, the Internet was slower than a turtle except for cached content.
Just don't.

@makhoder
What are you download speeds on this Ogero Plan , I will definitely stick with Ogero. Stable Speed, at least what I am experiencing with them until now.

cableguys sucks and they use FUP .. they calim it is 16 mbs or whatever but they don't mention how many person is sharing the same connection and it is not a stable connection and the speed fluctuate a lot.. if
you can manage your download at night, you can go with IDM 2mb 40gb +
you subscribe to unlimited nights and schedule
your downloads at night and they don't apply FUP on the limited plans with unlimited nights. if you want unlimited and no fup the best choice is ogero.

I know how cableguys are, this one is right behind my house, and the ping are just as good as Ogero.
I am getting 210 peak speed on Ogero (i know it is under the 2mbps, i dont know why they give it that way).
Cableguy is 2mbps during the day until I reach 1GB (then speed go to 1mbps, then after another 500mb it goes to 512.....), but after 12am the speed is doubled to 4mbps (upload and download). The fup is only during the day, at night no FUP.
Edit: Ogero here i think is having problems, i get 5% loss durign the day until 11am-12am, and most of the times 20+ms ping (if it was supposed to be 70, it gets to 100)

do anyone have an idea about ogero coverage near tyre and how is the gaming experience?

I am facing a similar issue, it's stable most of the time but randomly peaks to 250~800 every 10 minutes during the day, very weird. Is anyone having this issue or is it just me?

From 2pm till 12am my ping increases by 20ms and i get packet loss

Let me start by explaining my situation.
I have been subscribed to Ogero for about 10 years and my connection was always good (well compared to other local ISPs').
I am currently subscribed to the 2 Mbits unlimited plan.
I used to get around 80-90 ping in online games (LoL, WoW, CS:GO) and my attenuation was around 40 DB
Nearly 6 months ago, my line attenuation started rising (from 40 to 63.5) and my ping became stable at 110-120 ms.
I am 3.5 KM away from the CO in Jdeideh and my line attenuation is currently 58 DB.
Keep in mind that my connection is still somewhat stable. i get 210-220 KB/S, 115 ms.
However since those changes happened, if there are more than 4 people gaming online on my connection 1 person will start disconnecting and everyone starts lagging (Keep in mind that my friend used to come over and play LoL all on my connection without any lag spikes).
A friend who lives near me (a bit further from the CO compared to my house actually) told me to send Ogero an email to turn off interleaving. After checking his line attenuation he had 55 DB with interleaving off and was getting 80 ping and a stable connection (same plan as me).
So i contact Ogero today by email in order to turn off interleaving and within an hour i get a reply that said "Done".
I test the ping but there was no difference (restarted the modem too).
My questions are the below:
1- Anyone has any idea what might be the cause for the line attenuation rising more than 20 DB in the last 6 months?
2- Is there any way to fix it?
3- Is there anything else i must do or an amount of time i must wait for the ping to drop after turning off interleaving?
I should also add this, since the drop in attenuation and increase in ping, the internet sometimes disconnects when someone pick up the landline phone after it rings (not always but like every 3-6 phone calls) and will stay disconnected throughout the call and wont reconnect until we hang up the phone. Is it related to the issue? and is there anything i can do about it ?
Sorry for the long post.
AVOlio
First thing's first,
I think you need to put (or change) the splitters and filters in the house. (Filter should be installed where there is a phone, splitter should be installed where you have the modem, and if phone+modem through one wall plug then splitter as well).
Doing that should stop the disconnection problems when receiving and answering phone calls.
I have the interleaving off, and i have 60-80ms to my favorite BF4 european servers.
What email did you contact to ogero about turning off interleaving?
Doom
Post your line stats from your routers gateway to check if interleaving is on or off.

Quick question guys, I got a landline recently so I don't have my first invoice yet, and I was told that I need it to subscribe to any internet plan with Ogero. Can I use any of the papers they gave me when I got the line or do I need to wait for the invoice? Thanks.
