These prices are "with contract" prices, 2 years contract with either Verizon, AT&T or Sprint.

Just got an iPhone4 as a gift. I first got sad that I won't be able to get the new iPhone cause I will be stuck with what I have. After todays presentation, I became happier, iPhone4S is not a worthy upgrade. Well maybe Siri is a nice feature, but I guess they will include it in iOS5. So we'll going to see an iPhone4GS later in mid 2012, and then the iPhone5 next year. I will wait for the iPhone5.

Why do you think it is disappointing? Upgraded camera, processor, graphics chip, antennas and OS. That's pretty much a complete overhaul.
Yes it looks the same; but why would they change the look? (Other than the fragile glass back...) The screen is already high density and high quality.

Of course it's not, sadly most Lebanese care about "fa5fa5a" in most cases. Anyway, i might go for Google Nexus Prime when it's released. Apple is downward slopping nowadays :P or i got sick of using the same OS all these years.

actually im not an iphone fan , only used iphone 4 for like a month and the iphone 3gs recently cause i traded my bold 9900 for a 3gs and money ( mentioning details to clear that im not interested in the iphones )
but this one i think its worth it , back on track with dual core , the graphics too ! im sure the camera is so good , as mentioned above its display already perfect , and yes here they love fa5fa5 but its a good phone, but sadly its os make you feel trapped , the only thing i like about apple's phones is the build quality its high end , if im wrong please correct me , im thinking of galaxy s2 if you think there is better phone please advice me.

ios5 is still a limited os, in other words it is still lame and no where close to other os options in regards to flexibility and features.

i really hate it when they call these devices smart phones, there is nothing smart in any of the lot! they are all far from smart. there still is not a single os that fully automates your device usage making your life easier! just as an example, the big fuss with iphone 4s, 8mpx, oh boy here we go again talking about point and shoot pixels but nothing about the headache in relation to auto categorization, distribution and archiving. you still always have to do a huge manual labor either for every single shot or for the full amount of capacity that you have on the device. for an active user, that is a little bit too much since you would have to spend an average of hours every month on these kind of things. lame i say, they are not smart devices, they are command devices.

btw, as it has been so far, the 4s was released on the same principles as it predecessor the 3s with the difference that they have simply copied the ipad technology and crammed it into a smaller shell. this is the first time in years where apple fans have openly expressed disappointment. that only teaches those people that they are the Ginny pigs and not the market drivers.

Put the antennas and OS aside (seriously who cares about antennas? and all iphones are getting the OS upgrade), we waited 15months just to get a processor and a camera that some phones have had for 4month now! And yes looks matter, most people don't care if it has a processor that could power a space shuttle, they need something that looks new to brag about. If you have an iphone 4 would you buy the 4s? I don't think it's worth the upgrade. I believe most buyers will be first time users or 3gs owners. Anyhow you never know how people will react, the last time people bashed an apple product it sold millions of units.
