Sabahelkheir, just for reference guys, last time I was in Italy, I bought a new line for 12€ and 3G was and extra 3€ /week/500mb. :)
I can't remember for sure but a French line costed about 15€ (with 5€ credit) and unlimited Internet was 10€/ week
I used about 10gb..
Germany was 10€ a new line (with 10€ credit) and 10€/month but only 300mb. After that they throttle you to GPRS speeds.
London has it nice, 10£ a new line and everytime you recharge, you get 500mb of data and 200 texts or something (without losing your credit)
KSA prices! Data plans: 1GB for 50 Riyals (20,000L.L.), 5GB for1 100 Riyals (40,000L.L.), Unlimited for 350 Riyals(140,000L.L.)

Mobile+Data plans: 1GB for 100 Riyals (40,000L.L.), 5GB for1 200 Riyals (80,000L.L.), Unlimited for 350 Riyals(140,000L.L.)

Data plan sim can be used only for Data it cannot be used for voice calls, where Mobile Data plans are for phone and can be connected to PC tethering.

In Postpaid there is a feature that u can purchase the unlimited for 350 riyals +4 and get it over 2 Data sims and 1 Mobile Data sim. thus it will be per sim unlimited 118 Riyals

I Believe it will be less than that in congested areas such as ashrafieh, hamra, verdun, Mazraa, saifi, Meena, Saida and chtoura, there is a problem in the backbone infrastructure. And I believe you will face a problem in calling people also!
3G testing is over. Though alfa told me i had 3GB of quota, i was able to download more i got around 4.7GB of quota in total.
Now waiting for new prices
any leaks from inside AUST guys ??

Just posted it in the other thread, 19$ is for the 500MB. Speed is between 3 and 5Mbps

Hope it's not true though..
it seems to be official, 3G to be commercial on November 1st, $10 for 100 Mb, $19 for 500Mb.

little expensive, but not bad.
Alfa just sent me this SMS:
Dear customer Alfa is pleased to inform you that the pilot test period has been extended until 3G+ commercial launch. Enjoy 3G+ with Alfa

I'm sure this has been asked before but what is the best tool to regulate my internet consumption over 3G on an Android device?
Either Onavo for non Rooted phone, or DroidWall for rooted *not sure about the last one's name*
The pilot program is now over, 3G is open to the public. Congratulations :)
