Another phone call:
Summary of situation if you missed it above:
My ogero central hasn't upgraded my 256kbit connection yet
i call them and they say the lines are too weak apprently
i ask to pay only 1/4 of the price (256kbit with a 4GB bandwidth limit is just a joke) i sometimes don't even use those 4GB and i still get charged for the price of 1mbit i.e. 24,000LL ... This was the basis of my argument
They reassured me that they can't deduce the price - i got the feeling that many have called in with the same plan/complaints ( i asked to pay 1/4 seeming as though i have 1/4 of the speed)
I asked when this will be solved ... like talking to a wall
Asked if i can talk to somebody else other than a tech guy
They patch me through to some knob head
I ask about the issue and he merely said:
"Leh za3lan imneeeh jayeh 256 min aslo" - literally like that
Then i ask for any sort of plans they have for such areas and he simply said :
"ma ba3rif"
He closed the line
How unprofessional a reply is that , disgusting - Support and manners = Almost zero, yet i didn't stoop to his low level of studpidity
Anyway onto the question:
Anyone knows any civilized person i can talk to to ask about the areas that have "problems" with the upgrade ?
Thank you i'd gladly appreciate if anyone can help
If the Minister really said that 15% won't get the upgrade what does this mean, he wont do anything about it ? Surely we must get something out of this. Absolutely disgusting.
WizaRd wroteIt seems every time I want to come in and rant about my Ogero internet I see that Kareem has beaten me!
It reminds me of the 'internet tonight' thread hahaha
I'm wondering though, why aren't you getting the usual as-of-late 92-97ms ping ranges?
From my understanding, it seems something is wrong @ Ogero, some IP ranges give me fine latency, 90's, yet sometimes they can even time out when i ping so address, switching IP ranges from the modem fixes this. It's very weird and only started until recently. The 94 IP range seems to be the most stable for me - give it a try ! (also the test that Kareem did confirm this ! )
Update:
As of last night ... Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 122 /
133
