infiniteloop wroteThey were supposed to fix the instability these 2 days but it's still very unstable, got 7 random modem reboots today, SNR margin is 10ish
How much it was a week ago, because lot of ppl and i are facing reduced max rate by 3-4mb

what i feared is happening, private ISPs lying about our max attainable rates within good SNR margins to save bandwidth for them...... -_-
in case they do this , will that also affect their users wwho have ogero as DSP?

Max rate is 20mb instead of 21mb last week but 2 days ago it was 18mb and it was not better, SNR margin was also 10
I had 4 random modem reboots since my last post.
It looks like Ogero can't manage it yet, too much people on open speed at the same time, they should have begin with the Greater Beirut then other areas
What i'm sure of is that Ogero isn't limiting connection speeds. Download is between 3.1 to 3.4MB/s and SNR/Att is barely fluctuating.
Since yesterday night it's a nightmare, random modem reboots every 5 mins!
I noticed that if I have a big download the modem rarely reboot, it does the most when connection is idle

I don't like the connection since my line attenuation increased 2-3db and my max rate dropped from 14.5mb to 10.5mb

did you report that to the tech support?

Called cyberia, the tech support asked me to put G.DMT(it was Auto sync up) to limit my speed to 8mb/s instead of ...15mb/s, to just gain 0.9 in SNR Margin!!
She told me I have to change the filter while there are no difference in the rates between direct line and house's centrale.
So it looks like either she doesn't know what is the real problem and she gave me weird solutions are Ogero in my area can't support open speed.
I switched ADSL mode now to ADSL2+ and speed is back to normal with 15mb/s, and touch wood still no random modem reboot.

Is your dsp ogero or some company affiliated with cyberia?

do you a high number of errors like that?

Dear Mr. @ikreidieh , it's been like this around 8.5 mb, i know it's good. But on open test it was 16mb, @ogerotelecom need help plz! Thanks

It was a test environment. Today, conditions are different and the load is much higher

the prices of IDM and cyberia are obviously wrong. they cant sell some plans at more expensive prices than ogero's!!
these are from a dealer who sells cards !
these are the final prices (price + V.A.T + dealer tax)
well in that case, Terranet have owned IDM big time.
Sodetel leaks are impossible ?
Adnan wroteSodetel leaks are impossible ?
Sodetel's plans will be around the same as IDM/Cyberia/Terranet (give or take a couple of $ here and there).

At least the option for unlimited night traffic is there with OpendSpeed.

But let's see if they will be limiting the open speed as some mentioned here.
That would be a real shame.
