Free night for all plans or just for 4mb?
for all plans
But how is it someone in this forum called idm and they said for 4mb only
I called them on Monday trying to cancel my subscription to change to Ogero. The lady asked why and my answer was simple: better more stable connection on one hand, and unlimited night traffic will be cancelled by ISPs (only reason why i'm with you guys to begin with).
Not only she did her best (and succeeded at convincing me to wait till August 1st) but she made me hold on the line then came back to specifically say that there will be the 4Mbps unlimited 24/7 and it's not clear if the unlimited night traffic will be cancelled or not. She repeated this 3 consecutive times: we are still studying the best options to our customers and you will know soon enough
(I HATE how ISP are handling this upgrade).
Now, what surprised here was that a couple of Ogero ppl and some Lebgeeks/twitter ppl told me that my stats translate into possible good speed (in the range of 14 to 16Mbps if i update my cables and router/modem).
IDM told me that i might not even reach 6 to 8Mbps tops (I live right in the middle of Hamra and i doubt there won't be active cabinet here so WTF !!!!!!!!!) Anyone has a map of Active Cabinet or knows what is the nearest CO to hamra ?
Here are my line stats: please someone translate them and tell me what speeds i can get or not cause at this point i have no clue what to do except wait for FTTH :

As for the hypothetical released plans, i highly doubt that ALL PLANS will have night traffic
(Though from a business perspective: it's the only logical thing that ISP could do to get people not switching to Ogero by September).
HOWEVER, there's always "FAIR USAGE POLICY" and off course, they will limit the open speeds (WISH FUCKING CONTRADICTS THE SIMPLE NOTION OF "OPEN SPEED")
