From the Q&A: "for our FTTC deployment, we are aiming Vectoring deployment and Super Vectoring whenever required"

Anyway, I guess you'll be among the lucky early VDSL pioneers, and you'll be able to confirm then ;)
from the q&a : "VDSL2 from ogero isp are vectoring based and later on profile 35b known as super vectoring or vplus will be deployed within the fttc project to accommodate higher speeds". so vectoring is available now, later super vectoring on fttc
And where the hell do you get a Vplus 35b modem router? The only ones I could find are Asus DSL-AC87VG and Asus ASUS DSL-AC88U (G.Fast).
No other routers in the world supports Vplus, let alone G.Fast.
alifawaz99 wroteGuys if we switch to VDSL2, will the ping get lower due to using different modulation?
No.
I didn't test out my speed during #unleashthespeed but this is my normal internet speed during the days.

Do you think I'll be eligible for having high speeds once the new plans roll out?

What you are having is the max speed you can get, but buy vdsl2 modem you will get 20-35mbps

Even now? Where can I buy a vdsl2 modem?
yes even now you can, stores don't have vdsl2 modems but ogero point of sales have as imad said, but when you buy it you need to call 1515 to let them know you need the vdsl2 service otherwise it will sync at adsl2+ only

Guys, Vdsl modem will be available in top technologies store within 2 weeks or less, the cheapest one is tplink vr400 ($135)
Ahmad Toutounji wroteSorry but not gonna pay 135$ for a modem
Already get mine from there for about 100$ month ago, just ask for a discount
Sorry if I seem ignorant or stupid for asking this question but what about the cables in the walls? Do they support VDSL/Fiber?
If it is VDSL, it is the same cable that supports ADSL. But if you have FTTH you will need fiber optic cables and a fiber modem.

The TP Link VR400 supports all 3
Well it supports ADSL/VDSL. But it isn't a fiber modem that accepts fiber cables,it has a WAN/LAN Port so it could act as a router for fiber internet
Has anyone been able to find the answers to the following questions:
1- What are the upload speeds for the various packages? Mr Kraideieh mentioned that on the dedicated packages the download and upload speeds are the same what about the rest of the packages?
2- How can one effectively compare the dedicated unlimited packages to the remaining copper offerings in terms of effective throughput? Comparing copper to fiber is not my goal since fiber will require some time to implement?

Thanks

My recharge is in 3 days, hopefully the new plans will be out before that time :) Hopefully, maybe!

I guess all isps(including ogero) are waiting for the official gazette to publish for them to post the new plans on the website, because even ogero they didn't post the plans on the website.
It's not easy to make the paperwork for new plans, they are also perhaps finalizing the unlimited night feasibility options like if they do it from 11pm or 12pm or with a max of 200gb per month or real unlimited
Ahmad Toutounji wrote[because even ogero they didn't post the plans on the website.
Well actually if you open Ogero's site, you'll notice at the top it says "New Internet Service Fees" and if you click that, it takes you to this page https://www.ogero.gov.lb/Published/EN/newdslcprices.html

But I feel this is more of a news post than anything else and I guess maybe they'll change to the new website with new prices directly when the decree gets published on the gazette
