Guys,
Whoever is subscribed to the Student plan with an age of 25 or above.
I am also 25 and I subscribed to the plan for this month.
But today I received an sms from touch saying that at the end of the subscription I will no longer be subscribed to the plan and benefit from it and my line will be automatically switched to magic.
I called touch and they've told me it's because of my age which is 25.
Have you revived such sms as well??

Guys any suggestions for a decent VDSL modem router? It does not have to be strictly available in Lebanon as a relative of mine might be getting it for me from Dubai. Many here suggested the TPlink VR400 but I'm not sure whether it is based on its specs or the lack of other choices in Lebanese stores.
It might be worth mentioning that I have an attenuation of 16 dB on ADSL2+ and 13 dB on ADSL (not sure whether it is normal to vary) which means that I am 1 to 1.2 Km away from the CO. So would I notice a considerable improvement in switching from ADSL2+ to VDSL / VDSL2 ?

when I switch to adsl2+ it jumps to 34.5db but on other modulations it's 16-18db your "jumps" are not bad at all it is very normal to happen
okay, thanks for the infoAhmad Toutounji wrotewhen I switch to adsl2+ it jumps to 34.5db but on other modulations it's 16-18db your "jumps" are not bad at all it is very normal to happen
This is a cheap Tp-link VDSL2 Modem: TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N USB VDSL/ADSL Modem Router
TD-W9970
It is in the $40-$50 price range.

It is normal to vary between different modulations, your line attenuation is pretty good. You'll see some improvements in speed, though not drastically better until the FTTC project is complete. You'll be future proof, get the VR600 V2 if available there.Hassan wroteGuys any suggestions for a decent VDSL modem router? So normal customers that are close to the CO can subscribe to the fiber plans?Ahmad Toutounji wroteGuys check this tweet
It is found on online sites. If you have a relative outside Lebanon you could ask them to bring you one from their country. VDSL Modems aren't that much found in Lebanon. Also try to ask OGERO if they could sell you a VDSL2 Modem . I think they will bring some for their new services.
That's what i am trying to figure outgamer4life wroteSo normal customers that are close to the CO can subscribe to the fiber plans?Ahmad Toutounji wroteGuys check this tweet
