The employee answered that I have to wait till the new plans are in effect to determine my max bandwidth. Either that or I have to go to the Mazraa Central and submit a request ("Talab Kashef" or something like that).
In short, it is highly doubtful that Ogero will help me answer the quesitons I had.

@Ahmad Toutounji Would you mind posting your line stats? Just to check how close they are to mine; as we both seem to have the same max rate.

please keep in mind that I have interleaving turned off which loses me 2mbps max rate, please tell me the reply they will send to you
Is the fiber optic upgrade just for Ogero customers or will people with other ISPs eventually get the upgrade too?
I am with ogero and I don't even know if I will get the fiber optic plans, I think when fttc is available we all can take it
Fiber plans don't apply to FTTC, but rather to FTTH, FTTB, FTTO, etc...Ahmad Toutounji wroteI am with ogero and I don't even know if I will get the fiber optic plans, I think when fttc is available we all can take it
May You Clarify what these terminologies mean and a summary if possible. Plus do I need a VDSL modem if I will upgrade since the max I received was 20Mbps on open bandwidth test day. FTTC = fiber to the cabinetTech Guru wroteMay You Clarify what these terminologies mean and a summary if possible. Plus do I need a VDSL modem if I will upgrade since the max I received was 20Mbps on open bandwidth test day. Thank You
FTTH = fiber to the home
FTTB = fiber to the building
FTTO = fiber to the office
FTTH/B won't be available anytime soon for 99% of internet users.
FTTC relies on copper wires between the active cabinet and the user premises (home or other). Hence DSL plans apply.
If you got 20Mbps (ADSL2) on the unleash the speed test, then according to the Ogero's chart, you could in theory get 50 Mbps+ (VDSL2), or 85+ Mbps (VDSL2 with vectoring).
Do you know if OGERO has Vectoring Implemented For VDSL2? Or is it VDSL2 without vectoring?InVader wroteFTTC = fiber to the cabinetTech Guru wroteMay You Clarify what these terminologies mean and a summary if possible. I am not sure about vectoring for VDSL at this time. But by the time active cabinets are deployed, there will be VDSL with vectoring or even super vectoring in order to achieve a minimum of 50 Mbps for all DSL users. And those that are lucky to be within 300m of the active cabinet can enjoy G.Fast (300-800Mbps!) for a premium.alifawaz99 wroteDo you know if OGERO has Vectoring Implemented For VDSL2? There is vectoring all cos right now, but imad said super vectoring will become available after fttc is installed
From the Q&A: "for our FTTC deployment, we are aiming Vectoring deployment and Super Vectoring whenever required"Ahmad Toutounji wroteThere is vectoring all cos right now, but imad said super vectoring will become available after fttc is installed
Anyway, I guess you'll be among the lucky early VDSL pioneers, and you'll be able to confirm then ;)
I hope, but I remember from the q&a , ogero or imad i'm 100% sure that there is vectoring nowInVader wroteFrom the Q&A: "for our FTTC deployment, we are aiming Vectoring deployment and Super Vectoring whenever required"Ahmad Toutounji wroteThere is vectoring all cos right now, but imad said super vectoring will become available after fttc is installed

from the q&a : "VDSL2 from ogero isp are vectoring based and later on profile 35b known as super vectoring or vplus will be deployed within the fttc project to accommodate higher speeds". so vectoring is available now, later super vectoring on fttcInVader wroteFrom the Q&A: "for our FTTC deployment, we are aiming Vectoring deployment and Super Vectoring whenever required"Ahmad Toutounji wroteThere is vectoring all cos right now, but imad said super vectoring will become available after fttc is installed

Does anyone have any clear idea if we are going to be stuck with the smallest package 4mbps/40gb for the month of july or we can choose our preferred plan in the next 2 weeks before the month ends? I can't find a sure answer about this topic.
I went to the bir hassan co and they told me to wait "10 days minimum" before i can do speedtest and change to the plan i wantvengeance666 wroteDoes anyone have any clear idea if we are going to be stuck with the smallest package 4mbps/40gb for the month of july or we can choose our preferred plan in the next 2 weeks before the month ends? Were you able to acquire a vdsl modem?
Nope i don't know where to buy one
Guys if we switch to VDSL2, will the ping get lower due to using different modulation?

While watching eevblog (very popular video blog about professional electronics), i noticed he said, he want to interrupt his 6hr stream, as they have data caps. So i was curious, what are this data cap, that let this guy create amazing content. Not him, but another guy answered:
So, whiners that says new caps not enough, who want to waste terabytes of their data for useless entertainment stuff, take it.
