does anyone know if a simple phone call or email can activate vdsl? also for those who have vdsl modems right now and can't sync you need to tell ogero to activate it
nuclearcat wroteIt is very strange, if tenda has internet on lan, but not wifi, it might be some issue of wifi compatibility, because usually wifi and lan are bridged together.
Try using wifi on another device. Also try following steps:
1)Ping lan ip of tenda (it should be equal to your gateway given by DHCP)
2)Ping lan ip of thomson (it is gateway given by DHCP to Tenda)
3)ping 8.8.8.8
I got it to work!
i had NetCutter running by mistake and the device that i was testing the wifi on had the internet disconnected lol.

Everything working now, i put it as DHCP, and the pool list is between 1.100-1.200 and i put all the devices within that ip range with a speed bandwith of 30-50kbyte/s, and its working flawlessly.
ok guys just got information from a friend who called them, ogero will give the employees a mini course about vdsl in the coming days and tell them how we can subscribe to it, he told him that we can tell them to activate vdsl on the phone if you have already have a vdsl modem
Guys how much time will it take to move from Terranet back to Ogero? Will it still take 2 months?

Kredieh said today that it will take less than 2 weeks.

"Yes" is to which of the two questions?
Then we have to call 1515 to get VDSL2 on right?
I hope they know how to do so :)
they will give them a mini course as I said in the next few days to know how to do it
Ahmad Toutounji wroteWow free night quota for ogero will come back
You mean next month? Few days ago he said in a tweet not this time for the free nights. What does he mean by new billing system?
Ahmad Toutounji wroteWow free night quota for ogero will come back
Now that would be super great news if true, I just hope he didn't mean something else when he said "new billing system"
Sent him a private message for more clarification, he replied "We are preparing to install a new billing system that will enable us to do things that we are not able to do at present. We will be able to put caps on consumption, to offer time usage etc..."
Still waiting to reply when can we expect it.
caps on consumption - means also FUP possible
nuclearcat wrotecaps on consumption - means also FUP possible
cap on consumption = user control panel to limit bill
i am just hinting, that new billing if has such options, can easily introduce FUP
I think a new billing system can enable you how to control your consumption per day or per week, (lets say you put a rule to drop down the speed if you consume more than 10 GB per day)
In this way you can manage your traffic cap more easily, instead of what is available now !
