Friend of mine is in the Kraytem area and he's with IDM. He got his speed upgrade today. 14mb/s down, up is horrible.

The whole point of doing tests in Beirut was to get as many people involved as possible, why restrict the number to ogero only customers?

Maybe because they cant force private DSPs to give people maximal speeds for free before prices of E1s are officially decreased?

the best thing about this , is that you can play while downloading and your ping wont go above 100ms , (Y) perfect work is perfect

I am getting 13-14mbps down and 1mbps up here also the ping is very good now with interleaving and new speeds

As long as your line is an ogero line (central) whatever is your ISP you should get the speed test day

i am in hamra and i am getting 2mbps download 27ms ping and 0.5mbps upload . anything wrong with my line ? i am subscribed to 2 Mbps/512 Kbps ogero

I don't think anyone will , only if you have vdsl which is disappointing

My line is in Ras Enabe3 CO (IDM - Ogero DSP), so my turn is on April 13th,
What I have noticed from your stats guys that the max upload hit is 1.2 Mbps !!
So it seems the upload is still limited, very slow :(

as for the download, good noticeable increase in speed, but all depends now on the quota and price of any extra GB,

post more stats please,

I disagree with you, you cant overlook the infrastructure point, what they done is very promising and for the first time a step in the right direction, you can't just place an expectation that overpass our infrastructure limitations

all my respects Denys, but you are assuming that all people are geeks, you can set some QoS rules, i can set, but what is the percentage of lebanese people who can deal with their routers ?
opening speed is much excellent, but with the option to limit it, or maybe offering a range of speeds (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, ... Mbps) or on the other side, unleashing the quotas.

Tplink modems had before very simple QoS settings, as i remember.

I wasn't expecting too many in that range, but apparently there was one 24/2.5 in Hazmieh too. My guess it this is going to help Ogero identify weaknesses in distribution and start addressing them. Some people aren't getting a pretty good speed bump, others not so much or at all.

My Central will "unleash the speed" on wednesday, but noticed horrible ping at 250ms at least and download speed almost 512 kbps. DSL stats on modem are the same though.

my line wont handle more than 16mb , iam getting 14 , huge improvement from 2mb

so all in all iam satisfied

i didn't get a ping improvement , i wish i did , that's very important for me as a gamer , downloading forza 3 as speak entering th 41gb from 52 gb , what could take days to download before , took hours this sunday <3

big improvement , maybe i could get half of gears 4 files before they close the test :xD
