Noticed that too. Did a traceroute and it no longer routes to marseille which is the IMEWE cable. I think they switched some to the CADMOS cable to spare some bandwidth.

Now that's a good question, hopefully atleast 4mbps unlimited...would be nice to have it at 6mbps but I guess I better not expect too much from the beginning.

aw, guess it's possible this will be the lowest tier option then, now it's just a matter of how much quota will be offered for other higher plans(since we can say that 2mbps will stay as the only unlimited option).

Ohh ok, this makes more sense now for the 40gbs on 4M.
I really hope we can get 200gbs for a reasonable price.

He has mentioned before that the new plans are mostly quota based. From what I understand atm, speed will be what you can get and the kicker will be the quota. So, if you are fortunate enough to get good speeds, make sure you don't handicap yourself with a low quota. It doesnt sound that bad so far---pay for what you use instead of what you are supposed to be receiving.

it is not possible. in plans that have a defined quota, speed will be unlimited. so 4 mbps and 40GB dont make sense

logically, the cheapest plan (16$) should have at least 60GB as quota.

I think that will be like the current 2 mbps/24000/40 gig option, iow, entry level. My question would be for those that don't even get the minimum speed, would there be any change to the pricing structure?

man mafi plans that are bound by both speeds and caps. It is either limited speed with unlimited quota or ulimited speed with limited quota!
