I don't thing the speed performance, if it happens, is dependent on the CM's. I just think the new plans when they are introduced, need their approval, and since they have reportedly reached a budget, the plans have already been approved, just not formally and not known to any of us either.

I was thinking about operation like this , (Upgrading The whole system),
From DSLAM, to every single user ( Different line attenuation, and sn margins,)

is it going to be tested manually? or checked up for removing the speed limitation ? :D

this processes should take more than a week,

or can they work at back-end, ??

That's a lot of vans for 1 cabinet, hopefully a good thing to be expected, hopefully 16mbps+ with stable connection, fingers crossed

the max rate tells you about it you can maximum handle 11-12mb

that still pretty bad though comparing to what i'am used to have outside lebanon 140mb :(

however it's better than 2mb i guess i would accept 12mb unlimited connection

All right, that sort of looks like a building that I suspected of being a cabinet. It is a couple of km's away from me, but since I am getting only 1 mbps only now, hopefully it means that things will improve. Let's see what happens this weekend.

I have excellent stats since November although I live more than 5 km away from the centrale. The maximum bandwith is still relatively low though. Before that, my SN margin was 7-8 and my attenuatioin was 50-52. But in November, somethin happenned and turned things upside down. What is the explanation for that?

i am experiencing lower snr margin since a week or so... was about 25 for download now the max is 20.. i live about 3km (estimated cable length) from the CO
