Ok that's more clarification, it means we will not feel any upgrade(unlimited users), but we will still have the choice to choose between unlimited plans 2M-4M or maybe 6M when the new packages get released by june. The upgrade that will happen now to limited users is just for a while until the new packages are released and everyone will choose his speed that his line can handle with new quota (minimum 150gbs I hope) or pay less and choose lower speeds. It's just not normal to give everyone maximum speed his line can handle with no extra cash.

They are preparing the decree for the counsil of ministers , i guess whole new offers will be available when it's approved i don't think anything will happen before the approval, but the unlimited will stay at 2mb? Because if so then it's a huge failure for mot

If the new packages will be announced in june what is scheduled to happen before the end of march?

who said it will take untill june? he said end of march no?

He said before first of june, mostly by first of next month because they are preparing the decree

After a small conversation on Twitter, I understood the following:
- VDSL is being deployed in big cities. Speeds up to 40-50mbps should be available near COs if copper state permits.
- Ogero is "considering" re-ADSL for rural areas and lines with high levels of attenuation preventing their owners from reaching high speeds. --> "The solution might take a bit longer but it's coming"
- New plans should be available before the start of next month --> "supposedly before the end of the month depending on the CM approval"
- People with unlimited plans: "Unlimited will get the plan associated speed. VDSL is available" (not sure what that means)

Nevertheless, good things are coming.
Even if we were "only" talking about 2x speed and 2x quota for same prices on DSL, all while we wait for fiber.

It does look like good things are coming--it seems to be a bit slower for some of us, but the fact that we are talking theoretical 40-50 mbps speeds now is very encouraging. And have to give him props, he was answering tweets today and last night. It is great seeing that from a person in his position.

It's been a few days my friends and I are noticing a degraded performance, not full speed and youtube/instagram loading unusually. I hope the upgrades won't affect the stability of the lines/centrales to the worse.

This cracked me up.

Seriously im kind of excited for this upgrade, I want to see some real improvements with speeds, plans and pricing and some real competition with all the ISPs in the country.

Lets hope for the best.
