If you were to do a complete reset i would image you would have to take it to get it reconfigured since you are essentially wiping everything.maba723 wroteJust a quick question to anyone who knows, if I press the restart button on my router, would I have to take the router to Ogero to reconfigure it?(As I mentioned above I forgot the username/password)

Hi there i have a question, is Ogero giving 4MB speed ? when i called they told me the highest they have is 1MB Speed, while here i'm looking at some of you who have 4MB from Ogero. my CO is Chiyah, can someone tell me if i can apply for the 4MB plan ? and btw to any TerraNet subscriber, can you post a speedtest of a 4MB speed connection ? and let me know how the ping is.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hussam , Sorry my english is not very good , that's why i am writing in arabic words .i was saying that i am a VISP user now , and planning to switch to Ogero DSL soon , i was asking if i did a good move , because i have very bad connection with VISP . I was saying that my neighboor switched to ogero dsl last week and they have ping 255 ms download 500 k and upload 70 k , i was asking if that due to viruse or malware on their laptop . redbyte told me that may be the router .... and i was saying that i am not sure about the router they have , and don't know which router ogero will give me .

karim they have it on pc and parts and am really interested in buying it but its price is 137$ it sounds so cheap there do you recommend me to buy it from abroad safer? although all the members did talk good about this company (pcandparts) please do confirm

I called PC and Parts yesterday and they said that all the new modems from Linksys have been recalled and that they won't have it for the next few weeks. The price is 151$ including VAT
BTW: Qantum, Multimedia Megastore, GCC and Microtechstore don't have it ; they all told me this router has been returned to distributor and no one is sure why.

hmmm weird recalled as they were defective units? :( i see, then ill get it from UAE its being sold for 161$ tho but can't wait that long! they do work in sodetel rite? no reason why they wont ?
Actually yeah it should work fine; the reason I got it is because my old D-link was dying and I need a modem with the latest Broadcomm chipset ( members on forums reported that Broadcomm is very stable with Zhone DSLAMs ) with USB storage / Media server... etc... So far no problems. my old fried Linksys WAG320N is somehow as fast as the new one I got. So I can't say that the x3000 offers something extraordinary internet wise but the wireless range and speed is much better. I have disabled the WIFI on the x3000 as I don't need it. I am using Airport Extreme @300mbps and transfer rate is something around 112Mbps /sec ( 11-13 MB/sec )l2wal wrotehmmm weird recalled as they were defective units? :( i see, then ill get it from UAE its being sold for 161$ tho but can't wait that long! they do work in sodetel rite? no reason why they wont ?
oh i see, thats good to here! am getting one this week for sure! i just got installed today 8MB plan from sodetel but my modem router netgear is sooo poor and not functioning properly as well so needed to upgrade :) thanks for your info!

For Thomson routers, you can backup settings with a tool released by speedtouch, once you reset your modem you just restore the settings and no more visit to ogero or others.

-Yes you can check how much quota you have by going to www.ogero.gov
-You have to go to your modem and change it yourself. I also recommend changing the SSID , because there are software that can generate the password.
