i have a feeling nothing's gonna change before January

It is official. Sodetel have revealed their packages for the current customers. You can basically pick from the following packages, and they stated that they're keeping the unlimited night traffic but instead of 11pm till 7am it's going to be 12pm till 8am (same thing). The 4Mb package is for $44 and has a quota of 15Gb.
I think with these prices and packages, Sodetel are bound to dominate the competition. Great news for us though :D
just applied for the 10GB 2MB subscription
i really hope that the 10GB is shared between download and upload and NOT split in half as it was before

As far as i know it is. It's noted on the bottom of the page "The sum of download and upload" so it's kinda clear.
Ruroken where did you get this info ?
I did not get the option to choose yet

WTF is fair usage policy?
From what i know, it usually applies to users who download a lot, it basically drops your internet speed for a period of time. Had this policy before on my 256 unlimited account.
well that just sucks.
That means i cannot download stuff overnight and they will drop my speed.
I will check with them about this.

It depends how much you download. Some people tend to download 7gb every night and i think in this case it's inevitable that this policy will apply.
Guys, what the upload speed for the 2M plan?
@SpriGunMAn: choose your plan from here : dslpopup.sodetel.net.lb/switch.php
I just copied the link from Ruroken's screenshot.

Can you guys see the 8 Mbps plan in the list of options? I only see the 1, 2, and 4 Mbps plans.
They stated that these new packages will start from November 1st, so the change in quota will happen then.Mhmd wrotefor those who chose their plans, did your qouta change directly ??

@Ziad: I can see the 8Mb plan only in the website page and not in the account page. Check it from the main website.

It really sucks! Unlimited Night traffic starts at 12 Am (11 Am was better) who's gonna sit at 12 for online gaming, voice chat or video conferences!. Bullsh*t.
Look @ IDM: They they have 2 plans for 2 Mbps. Are we goning back to watch youtube videos and monitor the capacity! (Same sh*t.. different smell).
