I see your point in that, and while I do agree with everything you mentioned, the biggest counterargument is exclusives.
Most (if not all) Xbox games are coming to PC, where you can enjoy them with as high of a quality you would like, so I do not see the appeal in owing an Xbox at all. Nintendo and PS consoles on the other hand, have the best exclusives.
If I recall correctly, you mentioned on a separate thread when God of War came out, just how good of a game it was. There a ton of exclusives out there, which is the sole reason I own a PS4 (non-pro mind you; I only have it to play the game on a 720p TV) and am looking to get a switch.
I am not saying I will purchase the PS5 on launch date, but as long as the exclusives are that good, I know I will be buying the consoles for the games and playing them at sub-par quality just for the experience.
