by china airmail, i guess

Wow---actually that's impressive. Cgz.

Yeah--what wollyka said. A lot of things I was looking at were shipping by those carriers and were sort of ridiculous as a $15 item could cost $75 to ship.

Like here is a cheapo tv box---compare the price to its shipping cost.
Don't forget to spray with alcohol your packages as they are coming with airplanes full of coronavirus
I'm still waiting on my order for 2 months now (china post air mail).

Received my shipments from SnS , relatively fast knowing we are in corona period, from Amazon Germany to my home = 14 days

why from Amazon Germany? is it cheaper then Amazon US?
and does Aramex accept paying on delivery with LBP on 1515 rate?
Amazon US is very slow now because of Covid while Amazon Germany is pretty fast, they delivered to my German SnS address in 4 days.
Anyway it looks like there is a huge shortage of motherboards worldwide, I am trying to check a X570 mobo and I could only find 1 model out of 10 in any major shop like amazon and b&H
Yes SnS accepts lbp 1515 but they increased a bit their prices because of covid so better check before with the calculator

Amazon Germany also has great discounts on everything related to cameras and lenses

I just noticed it!

Anyone knows why?
yea the same for ebay.
Because our airport is closed. You think they don't know?
Yes, I even ordered a couple of items the last few weeks and they were shipped but later received notifications that the parcels were returned to the seller due to the airport closure. So it is like a lottery now.

Is ''onyourway'' dead?
Planes will resume in 3 weeks to Lebanon
It was a great idea but the fees were too high, a camera lens that costed 700$ in the US was considered as a 200$ fees for transport which is nearly +30%, if they can reconsider the fees I think it will be better than all shipping methods as we can bypass customs.

i don't think onyourway is dead, i believe they will start again after airport and travelers resume, but as you said their service was quite overpriced lately, it's nearby like using SnS. plus you have to consider paying the Dollar at very high rate.

i personally stopped using them months ago and went back to SnS

The items are delivered to the address you give them, so no need to go to the airport to pick them up yourself.
Regarding the cost, I once bought for 28$ from Hollister, payed 15$ once they were delivered (Vat, clearance...)
Hello guys,

What shipping methods should one choose on Aliexpress to avoid taxes?
On a given item, I only have "Aramex" option. Is that any good?

Thanks!
I have no idea where to start, and I'm scared to order from abroad. Can someone with experience share where I can gethe cheapest method? I can't seem to find an exact method to order from eBay.

Use China Mail (or similar) or Ali express Standard shipping.
Don't use Aramex or similar as it you will pay customs,TVA and all that.

Awesome thanks for the quick reply!
Guys, let's say i have an item shipped through DHL and the fees i have to pay upon receipt are very high, could i just refuse the package? will they send it back to sender for free?
Also, I can pay the fees with LBP right ?

No it doesn't work that way for international packages, DHL wont ship it back and bare the fees themselves, it will be considered an unclaimed package and will be destroyed (I doubt they do that in Lebanon, someone will take it home and enjoy it) and your international seller wont refund you the money since he will never receive the item back, so refusing your shipment is not an option for international packages.
On the bright side the fees are paid in LBP (Customs / taxes / clearance).

You will pay fees with Aramex.
To avoid these fees try to find a seller having those shipping methods:
China Post Airmail
China Post Small Packet
Singapore Post
Aliexpress Standard Shipping
The list goes one, but I can only remember those ...
