does cyberia have fup on the unlimited night (11 to 7)?
Feedback for Cyberia
Anyone having packet loss? Mine is 10% now :(
I just pinged router.cyberia.net.lb and there's no packet loss at all so the problem must be the IMEWE.
I'm on Ogero. IMEWE seems fine from hereGreenM wroteI just pinged router.cyberia.net.lb and there's no packet loss at all so the problem must be the IMEWE.

This is how I can prove that Cyberia is stealing traffic:
Last month I was 2M-20G (which is the same speed).
I reached ~15GB by the 18th. Just because my limition expanded to 1000GB they have expanded their stealing range. What a great proportionality...
It's only day 3 and the only download I did was a DayZ Update (700MB or so)Account Type DSL 2M-UNL
Expiry Date 8/1/2014 3:00:00 PM
Available Balance $0.00
Monthly Base Traffic* 1000.00GB UP and Down
Total used Traffic
14856.37 MB

They limit you to 1000GB on a 30day 2mbps unlimited connection!
If FUP didn't exist and you saturated your connection for 30 days non stop you can barely hit 500GB
But if they "miscalculate" by a factor of x10 or more you may have a point.

I don't think that's even possible since I use the internet for less than 6 hours per day.trent wroteThey limit you to 1000GB on a 30day 2mbps unlimited connection!

And even if I was downloading this WHOLE 6 hours, it would barely reach 15GB.
Phone them, call them thieves, in a gentle way
Anyone knows what's going on if we want to upgrade speed from 2mbs to 6mbs??
Called last week and they said to pass by their offices before the 21th of July to pay 8000LL and proceed with line testing for 6mbs, today I called to see if I have to bring any document with me, they told me they don't know how they will upgrade speeds till now and that we have to call them after the 10th of this month!!!!
I asked him if they will give an option to upgrade the line online like when they did from 1 to 2mbs some years ago and he said he doesn't have a clue :(

Some downloading softwares will account the whole download size before finishing the download, torrents for example will give a signal to Cyberia that you downloaded let say 10GB while you just got the first 100kb, so imagine you choose a 10x 150gb torrents by mistake...Johnaudi wroteI don't think that's even possible since I use the internet for less than 6 hours per day.trent wroteThey limit you to 1000GB on a 30day 2mbps unlimited connection!

These download managers only indicate on your PC file system the total file size due to the segmented downloading, but nothing of the sort is transmitted to the ISP nor expected/requested by the ISP.vegetaleb wroteSome downloading softwares will account the whole download size before finishing the download, torrents for example will give a signal to Cyberia that you downloaded let say 10GB while you just got the first 100kb, so imagine you choose a 10x 150gb torrents by mistake...

Free unlimited at night will remain on the 6mb/s :) :)
Anybody knows if the Sassine central can give 6mbs??
9 days later
Anyone got the speed upgrade?
4 days later
I applied for the 6mb upgrade at the beginning of the month, the cybergirl (cyberia girl) told me to see if the speed is upgraded in the last week of this month or if the plan is 6mb instead of 2mb in the cyberia recharge website but it's still 2mb (even slower than never), I called the tech support and the dude told me that I should get the 6mb in the first day of August, but the Huge question I asked him was ''and which refill card should I buy???'' he said I should ask on the 1st day of the month if the 6mb is running or not!
I thought Cyberia cut your monthly connection if you don't refill before the first day of the new month, am I wrong??
I will call the sales depart tomorrow to have a clearer answer

Yeah the support guy told me the same thing , we have to wait until the start of august because as he said (ogero didn't provide them with paperwork they need) whatever that means.vegetaleb wroteI applied for the 6mb upgrade at the beginning of the month, the cybergirl (cyberia girl) told me to see if the speed is upgraded in the last week of this month or if the plan is 6mb instead of 2mb in the cyberia recharge website but it's still 2mb (even slower than never), I called the tech support and the dude told me that I should get the 6mb in the first day of August, but the Huge question I asked him was ''and which refill card should I buy???'' he said I should ask on the 1st day of the month if the 6mb is running or not!

They won't cut your connection untill 3 pm of the first day so you have sometime to get a clear answer then
please update us on what the sales tell you tomorrow
Called the sales yesterday, they still stick to the fact that we will get an sms by the end of the month to tell us if the 6mb is working or not,it can even be on the 31 july, but if we dont receive an sms or see the 6mb in the recharge website then we should call to avoid losing a month,he is sure that if the central is not far then it will work
