Cyberia has the worst FUP of all companies 5KB but it only lasts 3 days.

yeah and they are being very strict in applying it , I am upgrading to 2 mb package starting tomorrow and not so excited to try downloading after 11 for the fear of being FUPed :(
Cable providers have been awesome with 500KB download and 2000KB upload i am thinking of switching, the problem is they are not stable.

if they were stable no one wouldn't switch to a cable but there's always a big chance there's no connection when you need it
upgraded today to 2M and i was shocked that the ping was better
i usually have 107 ms and now its 70 and even 60
i know that ping isn't related to bandwidth but this wasn't expected

Edit : the speed is still the same its a problem and they are working on it but the bandwidth in the modem is shown 512/ 2 mb
i usually have 91 ms ping, I am think of taking a 1Mbps/4gb connection for gaming and an unlmited cable guhy connection for browsing and such, it is way cheaper than 2mbps plan.
so , its now 4 oct and the speed is still the same
the bandwidth on the modem shows i am upgraded but the speed that i can use to download is still getting to the max of 120 kb/s so there's no upgrade and i am being contacted daily for some screenshots and whatever but still no solution

EDIT :called them today and they moved my case to urgent and it was solved instantly
I'm paying my reseller 50$ per month for 512k and wifi. he switched me back to cyberia a month ago but the ping wasen't like this. my ping is 500 now. what's going on :(

Why are you paying 50$ for 512k first !
you can have a 2mb package with best ping if you get dsl

If you wan't unlimited quota + good ping , I have bad news for you bro
It used to be good and they never fuped me. I used to download about 50 gigs per month.
What happened to the internet. Cyberia and sodetel used to have good ping.
for me ping to cyberia's router is 12~13 ms

i think its like you're not connected directly to the dsl many things can vary with the ping
14 days later
I contacted cyberia with a hard language and talked about my ping. i said it's been 600ms (and it's 1200ms while i'm writing this post) then i got a reply to download a file from their website and run it and then send the txt file that the batch file creates and this is what's inside the txt.

I think it's a problem from your re-seller , did you tell them that you aren't connected directly to dsl ?
why, in the traceroute, the first hop is in the 200 ms. Can you ping your home router using
ping -t 192.168.46.1

It is highly likely the issue is from your side because of the unstable ping. Usually high latency from ISP still give stable ping.

Internet blackout at cyberia now :/

EDIT : back to normal
