It's not at a good angle though.

Also Avolio, when taking pictures make sure there is light next time. Pictures never come out good when it's dark.

Can we show off our rigs?

Perhaps we can create a new post and put our Rig specs there. Who's in?

Re: My new GTX 680 Rig.

Guys, im planning to get a GTX 780ti from US.
I still have not decided which one, got my eyes on the Gigabyte GTX 780ti GHz Edition.
I have the Gigabyte Odin pro 800W PSU.
Will it be enough?  Or i should get a brand new PSU (just to be safe) and with a higher power.

It's more than enough. You could run two of them if you want.

Re: My new GTX 680 Rig.

This is the card I am thinking to get.
Surprisingly it is only 520$.
But as I searched for many other places like Amazon and such.. The card is still priced like here in Lebanon @800$+.

I read some of its reviews just today, I got worried a bit.
People saying they are having problems, RMA-ing their cards bla bla.
I keep thinking these are just people who have no idea what they are doing, or they are just trolls, but I don't want to take that chance, they may be true and the card might have some problems with it,  it is somewhat cheap from everywhere else.
Once my relatives bring it from the US, that's it, I don't have any chance of sending back and stuff.

So what do you think guys.
Is this a safe bet..
Or I should just pay the extra 300$ and get from pcandparts?

Re: My new GTX 680 Rig.

Hi Avo, first thing this is the regular GTX 780 in the link above and not the TI version, therefore the price is reasonable, second its also available in Amazon you can searh by part number " GV-N780GHZ-3GD", finally you should know that Newegg and Tigerdirect do not accept lebanese credit cards and I have tried myself befoee even called them and spoke with accounting departement they just dont accept.
Also if you are going for the GTX 780 non TI may I suggest the EVGA brand ? I got mine from amazon for 499$ back in 2013 and it did cost me around 90$ for borderlinx (customs - vat - clearing), I have the reference model (Titan look) great card, silent and 3 years warranty.
PS: I have a Corsair CX600 PSU running i5-4670k - corsair h80i cooler, some leds and about 7-8 desktop fans without any problem so I believe your PSU is more than enough.

Re: My new GTX 680 Rig.

Oh, how I didn't notice it's not the ti version!  :/
So that's why it's cheap.
Also, my relative was gonna use his credit card, not me.

Anyway, I changed my mind.
I will just get the 780ti from pcandparts. I don't want to take any chances.. Especially with my luck in electronic devices that I buy!
It's not the Ghz version,  but it will still do.
I liked the backplate of the Ghz version, that's why I had my eyes on it.

Re: My new GTX 680 Rig.

If you game at 1080p you'll barely notice the difference between the 780 and 780 Ti unless you're playing Crysis or Metro.
