Preface

Parts arrived in four different boxes:
1- Cooler Master Case
2- Monitor
3- UPS
4- Everything else.

It was very overwhelming considering the size of the damn case and the number of accessories that are in every box. I've been using laptops for over 7 years so the last desktop computer i built was almost that long, which really bugged the hell out of me given how much things have changed.

Luckily, MrClass helped me quite alot of the phone, major thanks to him.

amazing Machine!
Congrats!
I think i have a 7.1 Creative sound card + 7.1 Surround system which I do not use if you want them.
They are few years old but used 3 times because I do not have enough space for them :/
I think they would make a nice addition to your monster system.
Motherboard Skull!

Congratulations on the new desktop, xterm. May it perfectly render a million games!
Thanks guys, I did not really spend too much time on it, so benchmark results will have to come later.

I did however notice that the bios displayed the cpu speed as 3.8Ghz and not 3.4Ghz
Mabrouk man. You're gonna spend a lot of time with this baby. It's kinda like you're introducing your new partner right now :)
Wow man, Congratz. That is one a hell of a beast.
Lots of congrats on this piece of art!. It better not be "just for gaming", otherwise this wouldn't be "money well spent". (gamers, no troll intended :) ). But anyway, money spent on tech is always well spent :)
Thanks guys, I'd love to get some testing/benchmark/tuning recommendations.

I just realized I forgot to take a picture of the UPS.

Man, It's like 4x the size of the standard UPSes.
so now about that boot time issue :=)

How long does it take you to boot into Windows?
Hmmm, I didn't quite log it yet, I'll do it tonight. I still need to make sure that the SSD is performing correctly but so far I would say it would take around 15 to boot windows 7 ultimate 64bit from power on to desktop.

I just remembered: the windows experience rating was 7.7 on everything but the graphics which was 6.6 (understandable considering the 430 :()

I was happy with my 5.9 windows experience rating until I read that. :P
Here's something funny.

I wake up in the morning, as i was passing by the living room where the pc is located, I see my wife sitting there copying movie clips to the disk using an external harddrive. Not only that, she started torturing me saying:

"Why didn't you get a decent sound card?"
"Why didn't you get some nice speakers?"

(She also actually remembered my password, which i mentioned about 3 months ago!)
Holy transistor ! This is awesome! Mabrouk ! :)
The Lebanese internet connection is your only bottleneck if you want to conquer the world with this thing :P

What's even worse Jad, is that I used the internal WIFI Module of the motherboard that you can plug in to one of the USB ports. It failed miserably.
Why the huge cooler? Are you overclocking the CPU?
MSD wroteWhy the huge cooler? Are you overclocking the CPU?
Definitly, just not yet.
Mabrouk! Enjoy it! But there's one problem. Who recommended you triple channel memory?? This board doesn't support triple channel! You're simply running single channel now. It hampers performance.
