Personally I will first get my ram on my 32 bit to around 3 gig and then buy a 64bit processor, or when Longhorn comes out (near the end of 2006) which ever comes first :D
When are you thinking of buying a 64bit processor
12 days later
;)when it becomes cheap enough
well, longhorn is 64 bit right? then i'll get a 64bit one when longhorn is released.... and like samer said, not right away ;)
mahdoum, y do u need 3gb of ram? 512 is more than enough to me... dunno abt u

la2 the whole point of 64 bit is so that u can have more then 4 gigs of ram, otherwise all you need is a 32 bit
it is very early in the day to switch to 64 bit
not enough software support 64 bit
as usual windows needs to be tested intensly to cover all bugs and security vulnrebility ms has the habbit of letting buyers do the testing
plus intel has to prove themself over amd which has seniority on this project
any way maybe after all the testing it would be a good move
