Facebook Verification?

Hey guys, im not exactly sure where this is supposed to go, but I guess this is the closest thread?

Is there ANYONE who knows how to get verified on Facebook? (Gray or Blue Badge). After reading so many articles regarding the issue, I've learned 2 things.

1) Facebook has the worst support community/customer relations I've ever seen.

2) the "Verify Page" button is missing from the settings due to the fact that we're in Lebanon.

I've seen people from Lebanon get their pages verified, but I don't know them, so I cant really ask. If anyone knows any additional insights, I would greatly appreciate it.

FYI, this is for a verifying a local band with an active page and ~10,000 likes, which falls under Facebook's verification eligibility.
