Hello LebGeeks

Hi LebGeeks,

Looking forward to chat and share ideas, mostly on the Programming forum! my favourite programming language is Java, I'm interested in learning Node.js and i work as a Web(backend) & Android developer.

I've checked out lebgeeks.com/talks/. isn't there any event being planned?

Hello AdamGh.
Node.js is basically JavaScript. I mean if you know JavaScript it's easy to learn and use node.js.

Hi rolf!

Always being a backend developer and just recently Android, i know a bit of JS, but i've never done anything fancy, also at this stage i'm always on the doc page and learning how to properly manage callbacks which is a headache sometimes.

A lot of big companies are jumping into the Node.js scene and its getting more popular day by day, so i guess it's a "nice to know".

Thanks! Why "maybe"? what does it depend on if you don't mind me asking. This is a great (the only) geek community that i know of that does meet ups and Talks in Lebanon, it would be a waste if you stopped.
